What is Not Pixel?

Not Pixel is a collaborative pixel-canvas game built by the team behind Notcoin, the Telegram game that put tap-to-earn on the map with tens of millions of players. The concept is borrowed from the well-known internet experiment where a huge shared canvas is painted one pixel at a time by anyone who shows up: you mine colours, place them on the canvas, and repaint over what other people have drawn. What emerges is negotiated rather than designed — communities coordinate to build and defend images while others paint over them, which is the entire social game. It runs inside Telegram on the TON blockchain, so it requires no installation, and the points it pays out are called PX.

How to play Not Pixel

Open it in Telegram and start painting. Colours are mined rather than freely available, so the first constraint is your palette; from there you place pixels on the shared canvas, either following a community template or defending territory someone else wants. PX is earned three ways: by drawing, by inviting friends, and by completing social tasks. Crucially there is also a passive component — each pixel you hold on the canvas generates a small amount of PX per day, roughly a tenth of a point, which is what turns holding ground into an income rather than a hobby. The game has run tournaments across multiple rounds with colour templates, with PX and a Golden Pixel as prizes.

Not Pixel tokenomics & earning

PX is the game's unit, and the in-game PX Gems convert directly to it, so points earned in play carry over rather than being stranded. The token trades on TON venues, principally decentralised exchanges such as DeDust and STON.fi. The honest caveat is liquidity: daily trading volume on the main pairs can be extremely thin, which means a quoted price is not the same thing as being able to sell a meaningful amount at that price. It is also worth knowing the pattern of this genre — Telegram tap-to-earn games concentrate their rewards around launch and campaign periods and thin out afterwards.
