What is Orbi's Breath?

Orbi's Breath is a 3v3 turn-based player-versus-player card battler built on Solana, described by its own documentation as "a fun and beautiful turn based PvP Card game. Set on a battlefield of 3v3, cast spells to defeat your opponent and claim victory!" The framing is that you rise as an elemental Hero to save Orbi's Lands, and in practice that means assembling a team of three Heroes drawn from three elemental collections (Forest, Aqua and Blaze) and duelling other players in real time from the browser arena at orbisbreath.io. The game is still labelled pre-v1. A large rework landed in April 2026 that touched almost every system, which the developers summed up as "almost everything got touched and some of it got reworked from the ground up."

How a battle works

Each Hero carries four active skills, a passive ability and up to five equipment slots. Turn order is speed-based and readable in advance: every Hero is sorted by effective speed at the start of a round and that order is locked, so buffs and debuffs only change the round after. Skills draw on a single energy pool shared by the whole team, which starts at two and caps at six. Skill one generates energy, skill two applies buffs and debuffs, skill three is the high-damage payoff and skill four is the three-energy "identity" ultimate. Status effects such as Poison, Strike, Guard, Hunter Mark, Last Breath, Immunity, Oil and Static resolve at the end of each turn, so speed builds and positioning decide fights as much as raw damage does.

Progression, modes and rewards

Heroes level to 400 across six passive tiers, with new behaviour unlocking at levels 50, 100, 200 and 400, and equipment is refined through a Dust system: recycle items into Dust, then spend it to raise the substat you want by 25% at a time, four boosts doubling it. Outside ranked League play, where Elo is partially reset at the start of each month, there are daily and weekly quests, a practice mode against bots, and Sky Tower, Dungeon and Blood Moon events. The in-game marketplace sells gems, gold, essence and rubies for card or crypto, an optional League Pass costs $19.99, and monthly tournaments pay USDC prizes by ranking: "up to $100 now, scaling to $500 soon."
