What is Yuliverse?

Yuliverse is an augmented-reality game that puts its map over the real world, and its two acknowledged inspirations tell you most of what you need to know: Pokémon GO for the go-outside-and-find-things loop, and social apps for the meet-people layer built on top. Players walk real streets to discover quests, characters and items anchored to physical locations, then play out story content in a role-playing mode. It runs on BNB Chain, where it was recognised as a Star Project, and is backed by LIF Capital, Animoca Ventures and Hong Kong's Cyberport. The project has since pushed into hardware with Moonring, a wearable ring that unlocks specific in-game activities and pulls in real activity data such as exercise and sleep — an unusual move that puts Yuliverse in DePIN territory as well as gaming.

How to play Yuliverse

Yuliverse is free to play and mobile-first: install the app, connect a wallet, and the map fills with points of interest tied to where you actually are. The core mechanic the project calls seek-to-earn — go to a location, complete the quest or challenge waiting there, and collect the reward — so progress is gated by movement rather than by grinding in one place. Around that sit the role-playing storylines, character collection, and the social features that pair players up with others nearby, which is where the game differs most from a straight AR collector. Moonring owners get an additional layer, with the ring both unlocking activities and converting physical activity into in-game rewards.

Yuliverse tokenomics & earning

Yuliverse runs a two-token economy on BNB Chain. ARG is the in-game currency earned through ordinary quest completion and spent inside the world; ART, the Alternate Reality Token, is the tradeable asset and the one with an exchange price. Splitting the two is a common design meant to stop farmed in-game currency draining the traded token directly. In practice ART's market capitalisation is small and its trading volume can be very thin, which matters a great deal if the plan is to convert rewards to cash — a token can be quoted at a price and still be difficult to sell in size. Treat the earning as a bonus on a free game rather than an income stream, and check the project's own documentation for current reward rates.
