InfiniGods, the web3 mobile studio behind King of Destiny, is winding down. The studio says it will turn off its servers no earlier than November 1, 2026. King of Destiny has already been taken off the app stores, and the team has stopped all development on the game and on every other part of the InfiniGods Universe.
The studio ended its announcement with a message to its community: “Thank you for playing, collecting, and being part of this with us. It meant a lot.”
What happens to players and NFT holders
Players and collectors keep their NFTs, but the team says their functionality will be “extremely limited” and they will have no further utility.
InfiniGods Vault NFT holders have been getting monthly distributions of the GOD token, and those payouts are ending. Vault holders get one final distribution on October 26, 2026. No distributions will follow it. Holders who were already receiving the monthly payouts don’t need to do anything.
The team gave no details on what happens to the GOD token itself beyond the end of Vault distributions. With King of Destiny gone from the stores and the servers going offline no earlier than November 1, the October 26 payout is the last one from the InfiniGods ecosystem.
What King of Destiny was
King of Destiny was a mobile luck-battle game for iOS and Android, inspired by casual hits such as Coin Master and Monopoly Go. You spun for luck to win jackpots, traveled through ancient civilizations, built mythical cities and fought legendary monsters.
The game ran on Arbitrum. Players earned Fate, an in-game currency that could be bundled into Piggy Banks. These were onchain collectibles that could be traded on a marketplace or broken open to credit Fate back to a player’s account. Fate could also go toward pack openings for rare and limited-edition avatars. The game later hosted GOD token events, and Elder God NFT holders got in-game power-ups.
King of Destiny wasn’t the studio’s only game. Its lineup also included InfiniMerge (official site), a Greek mythology puzzle game, and Immortal Siege (official site), a tower defense game. InfiniPass NFT holders received early access, gameplay perks and NFT rewards. By January 2025, InfiniGods reported more than 2.2 million cumulative downloads across its mobile titles.
The studio and the GOD token
InfiniGods was founded in 2021 as a studio mixing mythology with blockchain gaming. In May 2022 it closed a 9 million USD seed round led by Pantera Capital, with Animoca Brands and Framework Ventures also taking part. In April 2024 it added an 8 million USD Series A, again led by Pantera Capital, to scale King of Destiny to a global audience.
GOD sat at the center of the InfiniGods economy. In October 2024 the team announced an airdrop of 7.5% of total supply: 4.25% for InfiniPass holders and 3.25% for Elder God NFT holders, with bonuses on top. The Valhalla Foundation managed the airdrop.
God Vaults launched as high-tier ERC-721 NFTs on Ethereum, minted on Magic Eden. Holders could stake them through Valhalla Staking to earn GOD, with a leveling system that opened up extra perks.
GOD later became an omnichain token through LayerZero. It expanded to Base and could also move across Ethereum, Arbitrum Nova and Hyperliquid. In 2025 InfiniGods announced Godchain, a dedicated Layer 3 gaming chain built with B3 for its mobile titles. It was B3’s second gaming chain after Prime Chain, which was developed with Parallel and Echelon. Godchain was set to use GOD for in-game transactions, staking rewards and governance.
