In Brief:
- Kepithor Studios has a new season running in Karnage Heroes, its three-hero PvP title, with leaderboard payouts in KEPI.
- The studio said the season is playable on Google Play and Telegram, and rankings reset every Monday at midday UTC.
- Prize money is funded by audio ad revenue and in-game fees rather than token minting, with 2.5% of the pool paid out weekly.
Kepithor Studios has opened a new season of Karnage Heroes, putting KEPI prize money behind its weekly PvP ladder. Players can compete on Google Play or Telegram, the studio said in a post on X.
Teams are three heroes deep. The post led with Saevus, pitching the character with the line, “He’s already dead. Losing still annoys him.” It told players to “Give Saevus two teammates and your opponents something to worry about.”

How the ladder works
Matches run themselves. Both sides are AI-controlled, so the work sits in squad selection and upgrades rather than in turn-by-turn play. Players pick three heroes from their collection, level them to raise stats and win matches to climb the rankings.
The competition resets Monday at midday UTC. Whoever is high enough on the board when the clock runs out takes a share of the KEPI prize pool.
Where the prize money comes from
The pool is funded by audio ad revenue, with 2.5% allocated weekly, or 10% monthly, to keep the competition running. All in-game fees, including marketplace transactions, go into the same pot. Kepithor describes the model as having no inflationary minting, which means payouts are capped by what the ads and fees actually bring in.
That structure covers the studio’s other titles too. KK Clicker, the idle companion game, runs the same leaderboard mechanic on a different clock, resetting Friday at midday UTC.
The token
KEPI is a BEP-20 token on BNB Smart Chain, contract address 0x099ea74ed0a30f6dcc5c7d5630ece2ab5d147812. It replaced Kingdom Karnage Token in June 2025, with KKT holders able to swap 1:1.
It’s the shared currency across every Kepithor title. One account signs a player into all of them, KEPI earned selling an asset in one game spends in another and some hero characters carry value across the ecosystem.
KEPI traded at roughly $0.0029 on Sept. 22, down about 3.9% over 24 hours and 19.5% over the week. On-chain market cap sat near $887,000 across 3,775 holders. Liquidity runs through a single venue: PancakeSwap v2, where the KEPI/BSC-USD pair accounts for all of the token’s volume.
Background
Kepithor Studios Ltd is based in Canterbury, England, and was incorporated Nov. 2, 2018. It remains listed as active on the UK companies register. The studio has raised $2 million, with Animoca Brands, Digital Finance Group and Enjin among its investors.
Eight Kepithor apps are live on Google Play, dating back to 2021, with about 90,000 installs and 500 ratings between them. Karnage Heroes ships there as KK Heroes: PvP Squad Battle and also runs through the Play Store’s PC client.
The catalog spreads across formats. Kingdom Karnage is the turn-based card game the universe started with, Royal Rampage is a wave-based action title, KK Clicker is an idle RPG, and Kepithor Rewards and EarnZ pay out KEPI for watching ads, answering surveys and clearing offers.
Kepithor returned to the Enjin ecosystem with ENJ Excavators, a free-to-play mining game that passed 10,000 installs in February. The studio integrated Enjin Blockchain in two hours and wrote up the process as a tutorial for Enjin’s own documentation.
KEPI’s entire 24-hour trading volume on Sept. 22 came to about $1,391, all of it in that one PancakeSwap pair.
