In Brief:
- Kepithor Studios opened a new Royal Rampage (official site) season, resetting the rankings and reopening KEPI rewards for players who climb them.
- Prize money comes from pools the studio funds with advertising revenue, Battle Pass sales and in-game purchases, which Kepithor puts at around $28,000.
- KEPI is the shared currency across Kepithor’s seven games, so what players win in Royal Rampage spends elsewhere in the lineup.
Kepithor Studios started a new season of Royal Rampage, clearing the leaderboard and putting KEPI rewards back in play for players who fight their way up it, the studio said in a post on X.
“Build your lineup, manage your energy and fight your way up the rankings,” Kepithor said.

How the payouts work
Royal Rampage pays from prize pools rather than minting new supply. Kepithor funds those pools with advertising revenue, Battle Pass sales and direct purchases, and says they currently sit at roughly $28,000.
A share is distributed to top leaderboard finishers. That structure runs across the studio’s catalog, with sister titles on their own clocks: KK Clicker resets Friday at midday UTC, KK Heroes on Monday at midday UTC.
The economics matter more than usual here. Kepithor has built the ecosystem around ad revenue and platform fees instead of emissions, with no fixed inflation schedule feeding the reward pools.
Two servers, two economies
The game splits players across a Seasonal Server and a Permanent Server. The seasonal side needs no wallet and no NFTs, and Kepithor’s documentation describes it as resetting every three months so players can earn new cards on a fresh board.
The Permanent Server is where the crypto sits. It requires owning a deck of cards, either earned on the seasonal side or bought on the marketplace, and pays KEPI based on match wins and leaderboard position. Progress there carries over instead of wiping.
Matches themselves are short. Players build a deck from more than 20 characters, equip their top 10 and fight lane-based bouts that run one to three minutes. Characters evolve from Common to Legendary through in-game upgrades, and spare cards can be sold on the in-game marketplace for KEPI.
Ranking changes came earlier
Kepithor has adjusted the scoring before. The studio capped match scores at 100 points and reset every player’s score when the change went in, then raised the prize pool by 1 million KKT to 8.25 million KKT. That followed an earlier 2 million KKT increase that lifted daily prizes by 25%.
KKT is the predecessor token. Holders swapped it 1-to-1 for KEPI during the migration, and Kepithor removed team and treasury allocations in the process, leaving the majority of tokens in circulation.
The token behind the prizes
KEPI runs on BNB Smart Chain as a BEP-20 token at contract 0x099Ea74Ed0a30f6Dcc5C7d5630eCE2aB5d147812, with a max supply of 300 million and monthly burns.
Liquidity is thin. The KEPI/BSC-USD pair on PancakeSwap v2 accounts for essentially all of the token’s volume, and it’s also listed on LBank.
Holders can stake through the official dApp, with multipliers for longer lock-ups and voting rights on ecosystem updates and future reward emissions.
One login, seven games
Kepithor, based in the U.K., ties its titles together with a single sign-up and a shared token. Registering for one game registers a player for all of them, and KEPI earned selling an asset in one title can be spent immediately in another.
Some assets travel too. Dragon NFTs are playable across five games: Royal Rampage, Kingdom Karnage, KK Heroes, KK Clicker and ENJ Excavators.
The studio also runs an ads-for-rewards app. Crowns earned watching ads in Kepithor Rewards convert into KEPI, and that KEPI buys troops in Royal Rampage.
