In Brief:
- Kintara launched a Seeker Season 2 promotion with Solana Mobile, giving players an exclusive Seeker Hoodie on entry.
- Players who reach 20,000 XP get a Seeker Chest with a chance at exclusive cosmetics or gold, the currency that drives Kintara’s in-game economy and its $KINS burns.
- Season 2 has become the main channel for Seeker-only game perks, following similar tie-ins with Colony, Faenora and Oro.
Kintara opened a Seeker Season 2 promotion with Solana Mobile, handing players an exclusive Seeker Hoodie cosmetic on entry and a Seeker Chest once they hit 20,000 XP.
The hoodie is claimable instantly, the studio said in a post on X. The chest comes later and isn’t a guaranteed item.

What’s confirmed and what isn’t
Kintara didn’t publish an end date, drop rates or an eligibility breakdown beyond the two reward tiers. Neither did Solana Mobile mention the tie-in in its own Season 2 posts as of publication.
Gold matters more than the wording suggests. It’s the currency for daily trades, shop purchases and cosmetics inside Kintara, and it sits at the center of the game’s token sinks. Paid Spinner Wheel spins run about $3 in $KINS, with half the amount burned and half routed to the game treasury.
Where it fits in Season 2
Season 2 began in January alongside the Jan. 21 launch of SKR, Solana Mobile’s token. It scores participants across three categories, onchain activity, dApp exploration and daily device use, with progress resetting every 30 days and an activated Genesis NFT required to take part.
Games have been a recurring hook. Colony became the first title to wire staked SKR directly into gameplay, scaling in-game rewards to a player’s staked balance. Faenora offered Seekers a 10% MCHY airdrop for buying a mercenary with SKR. Oro tied leaderboard tiers to tokenized gold, reserving part of its Season 1 nugget pool for Seeker users.
Kintara’s promotion follows that template but skips SKR entirely. There’s no staking requirement and no token purchase attached to either reward.
Solana Mobile changed how Season 2 scores onchain activity on Aug. 20, downgrading manufactured transactions in favor of what it called natural wallet use. The change applied only to future daily scores, and previously accumulated points were kept. The Seed Vault Wallet’s Activity tab showed both the old and new metrics during a 30-day transition.
The numbers behind both sides
Season 1 closed with more than 265 dApps, 9 million transactions and $2.6 billion in volume across 100,000-plus Seeker users. Solana Mobile distributed 1.819 billion SKR to 100,908 users in five allocation tiers, plus allocations for 188 developers who shipped to the dApp Store.
The catalog has since passed 700 apps and later crossed 1,000. Solana Mobile has cited more than 4.3 billion SKR staked and over 100,000 active users. Builder Grants went live March 19 for teams shipping mobile-first apps that integrate SKR.
Kintara is smaller. The browser MMO launched on Solana on May 22 and has drawn roughly 20,540 monthly active players, with concurrent users peaking between 800 and 1,300. It has recorded $450,000 in in-game transactions and banned 4,000 bots.
The XP math
Hitting 20,000 XP isn’t trivial in a game built on manual grinding. Kintara runs daily quests across five skills, chop wood, mine stone, catch fish, kill mobs, that reset every 24 hours and pay out gold, XP and occasional badges. Nothing automates.
Version 3.6 gave players a faster route. It added Frostmere, a biome gated behind Total Level 20, and Smithing, a skill trained there that lets players craft Level 2 tools. Those tools double both gathering rates and XP gain.
