Beginner guide

What is on the chain, what is not, and how to read the data safely.

No login

A short guide for crypto-curious Off The Grid players. It sticks to what the project's pages, Wikipedia and the GUNZ chain itself confirmed on 1 November 2026. It does not rate strategies, predict prices or promise results.

1. What the game is

Off The Grid is a free-to-play battle royale from Gunzilla Games, who develop and publish it. It runs on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Wikipedia lists up to 60 players per match, with PvP and PvE matches, and an early access release on 8 October 2024. The game's official site was still titled Early Access when we checked, so look there for the current status.

2. The NFT side is optional

The project says players can ignore the NFT side, and Wikipedia reports the developers calling the NFT elements optional. You can play without a wallet. Nothing on this site asks for one.

3. Where the items live

Not on Immutable, although other game hubs here use it. We searched all 1,885 collections Immutable's public API listed and found none for Off The Grid. The items are tokens on the GUNZ chain, in a contract named Game Item. Each token carries a name, a picture, a class, a rarity and a platform. Look at the newest ones in the item browser and count them in the rarity and class mix. How many exist is on the item supply page.

4. GUN and the GUNZ chain

The project calls GUN the official token of the GUNZ platform, used to trade and buy items on the marketplace and earned by completing challenges. See its price and supply on the GUN token page and the chain's activity on GUNZ chain stats.

5. What we cannot tell you

We found no public source of item prices or sales, so there are no price pages. We found no official page that explains the 10,000 Hacker licenses, so we show who holds them and nothing about what they do. The project's own site names an OpenSea collection for item trading; check prices and rules there and on the official channels before you spend money.

6. Stay safe

Never share a seed phrase. Check any contract address on the project's own pages before you trust a copy of it, including the ones on this site. Treat numbers here as a starting point: each page says how old its data is.
