Glossary

Short definitions of the terms the tools use.

No login

Short definitions of the terms used across these Off The Grid tools, in our own words and based on public GUNZ chain explorer data and the project's own pages (read 1 November 2026). Game rules and item stats are left out on purpose: we have not checked their wording against an official rules page.

Terms 19

Off The Grid

A free-to-play battle royale from Gunzilla Games for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. The project describes it as an Extraction Royale. Its NFT items are optional.

Gunzilla Games

The studio that develops and publishes Off The Grid.

GUNZ

The blockchain platform that Off The Grid's optional NFT items and the GUN token run on. Its public explorer is gunzscan.io.

GUN

The official token of the GUNZ platform, according to the project. It is used to trade and buy items on the marketplace and can be earned by completing challenges. On the GUNZ chain it is the chain's coin.

Wrapped GUN (WGUN)

An ERC-20 token named Wrapped GUN on the GUNZ chain. The explorer lists it with its own supply and holder count.

Game Item

The contract (symbol GI, an ERC-721) on the GUNZ chain where Off The Grid items are minted. Each token is one item.

Hacker license

A collection of 10,000 tokens on the GUNZ chain. Game Item data names a Hacker licence id. We found no official page explaining its role.

ERC-721

A token standard in which every token is unique and has its own id. The Game Item and Hacker license contracts use it.

ERC-20

A token standard for interchangeable tokens, where one unit equals any other. Wrapped GUN uses it.

Mint

The creation of a new token. The item browser marks an event as a mint when the token comes from the zero address.

Transfer

Moving an existing token from one wallet to another.

Burn

Destroying a token so it no longer exists. It lowers the supply.

Wallet address

A public 0x address on the chain. One person can use many, and a contract has one too.

Holder

A wallet that holds at least one token of a collection.

Rarity

A field in item data. We saw Common, Uncommon, Rare and Epic in our sample of 1 November 2026.

Class

A field in item data that sorts items into kinds such as Weapon, Weapon Skin, Weapon Attachment, Customization Item and Body Part.

Early access

A release stage before the full launch. The game's official site was still titled Early Access on 1 November 2026.

Event sample

The newest item events our server read from the explorer, about 300. The tools state how many and which time span.

Block explorer

A public website and API that lists the transactions, tokens and wallets of a chain. Ours is gunzscan.io.

Sources

Terms about tokens and the chain describe what the public GUNZ chain explorer reports. Terms about the game and the GUN token repeat how the project describes them on its own site. The event sample is how this site counts items, see the rarity and class mix.

FAQ

Why are game rules and item stats not defined here?

We have not verified their wording against an official rules page. The tools show item data only as the chain reports it.

Where do the definitions come from?

From public GUNZ explorer data and the project's own pages, read on 1 November 2026, put into plain words by us.

Are these wordings official?

No. They are our plain-words summaries. The project may word things differently, so check its own pages for anything that matters.
