Sorare is putting cards from three of its smaller European leagues into Crafting, the first time Sorare 27 cards have been craftable since the season launched last month.

How the draw works this season
Crafting runs on Essence, and a draw costs 1,000. Managers who commit get 10 face-down cards and can spend more Essence on Clues before revealing, including league and nationality reveals and a Keep Best Five option.
Sorare 27 also locks in the tiering system it tested at the end of last season. Cards now sit in Reserve, Roster, Key, Star or Icon, replacing the old T0 through T5 labels that Sorare retired in a May 13 update on Sorare Pro.
The bottom three tiers update daily off minutes played. Stars and Icons are picked by hand so each league’s most wanted players always land in the top bracket, and in Pro crafting the two share a single pool, meaning the Highest Tier Clue tells you a player is four or five stars without saying which.
Tiering covers Limited, Rare and Super Rare. Uniques keep their own system.
Essence is seasonal now
The supply side changed this year. Essence no longer rolls over untouched, and Sorare 26 balances convert to Sorare 27 Essence on a degressive scale that pays worse the more you hold.
Anything under 1,000 Essence 26 converts to no Essence 27 at all, only Craft Clues. The ceiling is 15,000 Essence 27, reached at 150,000 Essence 26, which works out to 15 crafts. Balances above the cap aren’t burned. Sorare said the excess gets redistributed as additional rewards, a change from last season, when anything past roughly the 13,000 equivalent was forfeited.
Sorare framed the scale as protecting the Sorare 27 economy from a flood of day one crafts while still rewarding managers who saved.
Where the three leagues sit
All three had their Early Access drops before the fixtures started. Sorare ran a three-hour boosted window on Wednesday, July 29, opening at 4 p.m. CET, covering the Scottish, Austrian and Croatian leagues.
Cards pulled in that window carry a Pro Mode scoring bonus for the opening four matchdays of their league, 10% for Reserve, Roster and Key players and 5% for Star and Icon. Prize money in the Rest of the World Arena for Super Rare and Unique cards climbed to $45,000 during the boost, with up to $3,000 available for a complete In-Season Rare lineup across the first four matchdays. Collection Missions shipped alongside the SPFL rollout.
The SPFL and Austrian Bundesliga both sit in Sorare’s Challenger tier. On July 22, Sorare added the Croatian HNL and the Austrian Bundesliga to Arena Contender, its head-to-head mode with no divisions, where Hot Streaks progress requires five Limited cards or four Limited and one Rare, with reward boosts up to 2x.
Background
Sorare 27 opened in July and runs to the end of the European season in May 2027. LaLiga EA SPORTS is live, Liga Portugal joined through a direct league deal that brought in Porto, Benfica and Sporting, and all 18 Ligue 1 clubs are now covered.
To start the season Sorare stacked 2x on the first Pro Mode steps and 3x on the largest, worth up to $12,000 on the final step, plus 2x Arena rewards across all three scarcities for the first two Game Weeks. Part of that budget came from a planned partnership that fell through, which Sorare said it redirected into deeper Rare Arena rewards and a Classic Rare bonus in Pro.
The Scottish Premiership kicked off Aug. 1 with 12 clubs. Dinamo Zagreb goes into the Croatian season holding a 26th title.
