How many copies of a Splinterlands card do you need to reach each level? Pick the rarity and whether the card is regular or gold foil, type how many copies you hold, and the calculator shows your level, the copies to the next level and the copies to the top level. The tables are the game's own combine rates from its public settings, cached for 15 minutes. Check card stats at each level in the Card Database and how many copies exist in the Scarcity and Burn Tracker. Game page: Splinterlands on CryptoGames.

How it works
- The settings file holds two tables, combine_rates for regular cards and combine_rates_gold for gold foil, each with one list per rarity. Entry number N is the total number of copies needed for level N.
- Your level is the highest level whose total you have reached. Copies to the next level is that total minus what you hold.
- The gold table lists 0 for the first levels, meaning the settings list no copies for those levels. We show the table as published and do not interpret it further.
- Older Alpha and Beta cards track experience points with their own values; this calculator covers the standard copy-based tables only.
Data from the public Splinterlands API and prices feed (plus Hive-Engine for the SPS market where noted), cached for a few minutes. Unofficial fan tool: not affiliated with or endorsed by Splinterlands.
FAQ
How many copies does a card need to level up?
It depends on rarity. The settings list the total copies for each level: for example a common reaches level 2 at 5 copies and level 10 at 400, while a legendary has only 4 levels. The table shows every step.
Are gold foil cards different?
Yes. Gold foil cards need far fewer copies per level, and the calculator switches to the gold table when you choose it.
Does this work for Alpha and Beta cards?
Those older cards track experience points instead of single copies, with their own values in the settings. This calculator follows the standard combine table and is meant for the current copy-based cards.
Where do the numbers come from?
From the combine_rates and combine_rates_gold tables of the public Splinterlands settings file, cached for 15 minutes.
