Synthtopia opened the mint for THE SYNTHS, a collection of 313 characters, and paired the launch with a two-minute short film animating a selection of them.

The announcement didn’t include a mint price, a tier breakdown or a close date.
A much smaller drop than what came before
At 313 pieces, THE SYNTHS is the tightest supply Synthtopia has released. THE LEGENDS ran 9,000 1/1 avatars in October 2024. INTO THE BIOSPHERE ran 5,555, structured as 333 at $1, 3,000 at $81 and 2,222 held back for the project’s Synthesis Rewards system.
THE SYNTHETIX came in at 1,881, split 100 at $1, 1,600 at $81 and 181 reserved. THE HOLY GRAIL totaled 6,000 across two mystery packs, 2,000 at $1 and 4,000 at $69, with 1,000 set aside for community rewards. THE WORLD OF MUSES, which opened on Earth Day, April 22, carried 999 ceremonial 1/1 collectibles.
The genesis drop in August 2023 was 3,000 avatars, artifacts, robots, supercars, treasure bundles and cinematic moments. Every one of those releases went out on Crypto.com’s NFT marketplace on Cronos.
Who’s behind it
The IP sits with WGQ Ventures LLC. Synthtopia came out of Destabilized, an art collective founded by QVANTVM, with contributions from Scott Page of Pink Floyd.
The project says it has no single founder and describes its team as entertainment veterans with credits spanning Netflix Originals, Pink Floyd and Xbox. It bills itself as an AI-powered media franchise covering 18 connected worlds of collectibles, music, characters and live experiences, co-authored by holders.
It also runs synthtopia.ai, a generative platform for making music, video and visuals.
The numbers, self-reported
Synthtopia reports more than $3 million in trading volume and over 44,000 NFT sales across its collections. It cites auctions reaching $6,000 per piece and secondary sales at $3,200. Earlier drop materials put digital content sales above $2.5 million across 34,000 trades.
None of those figures come from an independent audit. They’re the project’s own.
Past drops sold out, and Synthtopia has run collaborations with Loaded Lions and Mane City plus more than 7,500 1/1 NFT airdrops to holders.
The token that hasn’t shipped
Holder rewards across the collections route through $BIOSYNTH, a loyalty-point system that pays out after a token generation event. Each Gold NFT carries one loyalty point, worth 300,000 $BIOSYNTH. Legendary carries six points, or 1.8 million. Promethean carries 21 points, or 6.3 million. OMEGA Custom NFTs carry 33 points, or 9.9 million.
Drop terms anticipated the token launching by Q1 of 2025, subject to change.
Those same terms give WGQ Ventures the right to cancel, modify or suspend the event and its utility terms at any time without prior notice. Buyers agree they have no recourse against the company if the described utility or project isn’t delivered.
