The Plooshies bring Plooshie Island to Robinhood Chain, release 4K gameplay trailer

The Plooshies are heading to Robinhood Chain.

The team announced the move on X and tagged @RobinhoodCrypto in the post. It came with the official trailer for Plooshie Island, the project’s multiplayer world, posted to YouTube.

“The wait is over. @ThePlooshies are coming to Robinhood Chain,” the team said.

What the trailer shows

The team said the footage is taken directly from the game. “The official Plooshie Island trailer. Real in-game footage, full 4K,” the post said.

It also said the island had been “Rebuilt by hand, texture by texture.”

The post didn’t include a launch date, a migration timeline or any details about tokens or assets moving to the new network. It hinted that more was coming. “This is only the surface…” the team said.

A change from Abstract

Earlier project material said The Plooshies were built on the Abstract chain and that Plooshy Island, which is still in development, would launch there. The original NFT collection trades on Ethereum.

The Robinhood Chain announcement doesn’t say what happens to the Abstract plan or to the Ethereum collection. It also doesn’t say whether the move covers the whole ecosystem or only the island.

The project spells the game “Plooshie Island” in the new post, while earlier documentation calls it “Plooshy Island.”

What’s in the game

According to project material, Plooshy Island is a multiplayer world where players can own virtual homes, complete quests and interact with each other. Players mine Plooshy Crystals, which feed into upgrades and the in-game economy.

The design also calls for Plooshy Points (PP) and a token, $CUDDLE Coin.

The island is one part of a wider catalog of casual games. That catalog includes quick browser mini-games and Plooshy Pile Up, a mobile title.

The NFT collection holds 3,333 fully rigged and animated 3D models of 11 unique characters. Players don’t need an NFT to play.

The destination chain

Robinhood Chain is an Ethereum Layer 2 built on the Arbitrum stack. Robinhood designed it mainly for tokenized real-world assets and around-the-clock onchain financial services.

Its public testnet launched Feb. 10, 2026. Mainnet followed July 1, with 100ms block times and built-in support for tokenized stocks and stablecoins.

Three weeks after mainnet, the chain held $450 million in total value locked and had processed more than 95 million transactions, Robinhood Crypto GM Johann Kerbrat said.

Games haven’t been Robinhood’s focus for the network. The titles running there so far are small independent projects. Robinhood Markets doesn’t automatically operate, review or endorse applications deployed on the chain, which is permissionless.

The team closed its announcement with a line its community will recognize: “We keep Plooshing.”
