Peacock’s September slate leans on a mix subscribers to the NBCUniversal-backed platform should recognize: original series, network favorites, reality hits and a batch of new movies spread across the month. Fall arrives, the cozy movies arrive with it, and a handful of TV debuts fill in the gaps.
The Office spinoff comes back
The Paper returns for a second season, and it’s one of the month’s biggest Peacock returns. The spinoff carries the weight of its predecessor whether it wants to or not.
New scripted work shows up too. Peter Krause headlines Line of Fire, which marks his return to NBC after years spent on another network.
Civilians get their shot at The Traitors
The Traitors: New Blood joins the franchise this month, putting civilians into the game rather than the usual roster. Same rules, different scope.
It’s the kind of format tweak that either reinvigorates a reality show or exposes exactly how much it was leaning on celebrity casting. September will tell.
Bravo keeps the lights on
Jeff Lewis returns with Still Flipping Out, and Real Housewives franchises come back for new seasons. Bravo lovers are covered, as usual.
The Bravosphere and the scripted side split the month roughly down the middle, which means the platform isn’t asking anyone to pick a lane.
