Terrariums V1.1 enhances Axie Infinity mechanics
Axie Infinity has rolled out version 1.1 of its Terrariums feature, designed to optimize the interaction between land and Axies. Following initial success, where over $95,000 in Lunium was generated and nearly 53% of land plots activated within the first week, the new iteration promises to deepen gameplay engagement.
The latest update integrates accessories, evolved parts, land items, and Fortune Slips into the existing framework, modifying how players derive Atia’s Flame from their assets. Each component contributes to the overall Flame value of both individual Axies and entire land plots. This allows players to strategize not just how they utilize their Axies but also the land itself.
New features and mechanics
With V1.1, each Axie’s accumulated Flame is influenced by its accessories and the evolution of specific parts. Each evolved element adds a Flame value that correlates with its rarity and combination type. For example, evolving multiple rare parts on a single Mystic Axie can yield significant boosts in Flame, enhancing its utility across the board.
The new mechanics allow players to enhance their Flame in three distinct layers: at the Axie level, the plot level, and through temporary buffs. Fortune Slips offer players a straightforward way to temporarily increase their plot’s Flame by 10% for 24 hours, enabling strategic planning around resource allocation.
Background impacts and community input
Initial iterations showed strong results, with data indicating a notable rise in both land and Axie transaction volume post-launch. Players are encouraged to continue providing feedback, shaping the evolution of these features significantly. The team has committed to implementing two major updates based on this input, particularly addressing the usability of mining pools.
“This aligns our resources and player experience with the evolving ecosystem,” a representative said.
The first major update, improving local pool regeneration while mining, is scheduled for July 2, ensuring that players can maximize their resources throughout the gameplay experience.
“We want you reading the numbers, testing the math against your own collection, and sending us your feedback,” they added, indicating an ongoing commitment to refining the game based on user insights.
