In Brief:
- Shard Legends said Season 1 of Clan Wars begins Aug. 5, the same day the SLCW token generation event puts the token on the market at 12:00 UTC.
- The Imperial Tickets mining season, originally set to close July 20, now runs through Aug. 4, giving players one more day to convert quest points into claims on the TGE distribution.
- Season 1 is the first full contest for the game’s 18 Cities of Power, where the owning clan sets taxes and 50% of every in-game token spend feeds the Clan Prize Pool.
Shard Legends will open Season 1 of Clan Wars on Aug. 5, the same day its SLCW token starts trading, the studio said in a post on X.
Trading goes live at 12:00 UTC. The token generation event and the season opener land on the same clock, so the first competitive clan season starts with a market price attached to it.

Mining window pushed to Aug. 4
The Imperial Tickets mining season opened June 8 at 12:00 UTC and was scheduled to close July 20. The studio extended it through Aug. 4, the day before the TGE.
Tickets come off a quest board. Quest completions generate points, and every 100 points converts into one Imperial Ticket. Points roll over rather than resetting, so players accumulate across the whole season.
Quest tiers run from T1 Common to T7 Mythic, with the top tier worth up to 100 points. And the leaderboards refresh hourly, showing the top 10 players for each ticket type.
Two ticket types, uneven split
Silver Tickets draw 15% of the distribution pool. Gold Tickets take the remaining 85%. Every ticket held guarantees a share of the SLCW handed out at the TGE.
What the season is fought over
Clan Wars is built around 18 Cities of Power. Taking one requires a Sword of Power, and the owning clan collects tax revenue plus access to a unique regional resource.
Lords run city treasuries and set tax rates. They keep 15% of the funds and pass 85% to citizens. Players who register in a city draw a daily salary scaled to Reputation.
Trade routes can be blockaded outright, which pushes clans toward treaties and diplomatic pressure instead of straight combat. Greyholm, the capital, produces the Imperial Seal and sits at the top of the conquest order.
Cities that finished the Genesis Era more developed start Clan Wars with stronger economies and defenses.
Burn and prize pool
SLCW runs on what the team calls a Sovereign Token Economy, in which total supply is a function of player activity. Under a Dynamic Hard Cap, 50% of every in-game token spend is burned permanently and the other 50% refills the Clan Prize Pool paid to seasonal champions.
Players hold 83% of the allocation. The rest of the design includes dynamic anti-dump vesting, 80% real-yield LP-backed liquidity and daily soft-staking boosts for holders.
Background
Genesis Era, the founding season, ended Feb. 15 with a $30,000 prize pool and Founder NFT status on the line. The Founder’s Council reserves 1,000 spots.
OnGame Studio, which operates as OnGame Limited out of Hong Kong, put the game on the Solana Mobile dApp Store on June 26 for Solana Mobile and Seeker devices. Seeker holders get free Welcome Chests of equipment for clearing quests in the Borderlands.
There are no NPC merchants. Goods move through a Black Market order book for raw resources and an Equipment Market for standardized T1 to T4 armor and weapons, fed by 13 professions.
After Arena PvP went live, the studio reported average revenue per paying user rose 667.5% to $43.12.
