In Brief:
- Nakamoto Games said Roblox “remains one of our biggest development priorities,” with development continuing across multiple titles after Escape from Era entered beta.
- The studio reported completed weapon systems and refactored trap mechanics for Steal & Defend this week.
- The push follows the May 13 beta launch of Siam Playground, NAKA’s first Roblox environment and the first live product of its Web2-first strategy.
Nakamoto Games said development is continuing across multiple Roblox titles following the beta launch of Escape from Era, with the bulk of this week’s work going into a second game called Steal & Defend.
The studio said it completed weapon systems and refactored trap mechanics for that title. Roblox “remains one of our biggest development priorities,” Nakamoto Games (official site) said in a post on X.

What’s already live
Siam Playground, Nakamoto's first Roblox environment, launched in beta May 13. It’s a Thai-themed multiplayer village built natively inside Roblox, with festival environments, social spaces, player progression, event systems and Roblox economy integration, all optimized for mobile.
Players don’t need a wallet to participate. Token integration is optional. NAKA runs on Polygon, and the team has said it wants to bridge the ecosystem to Solana, BNB Chain and Avalanche.
Post-launch plans called for new maps, extended gameplay systems and seasonal content starting in June and July. Later development updates pointed to three new maps in active development, plus tutorial and UI work aimed at onboarding.
The rest of the slate
Two other Roblox projects have been disclosed in the studio’s development updates. Roblox Run has completed gameplay systems, finalized audio implementation, and finished shop systems, VFX, progression, rewards and UI. A tower defense title has added daily rewards alongside balance and performance improvements and new visual systems.
Outside Roblox, the pipeline includes submitting Metal Rampage to app stores and building mobile versions of Trick or Seek. NAKA Merge 2048‘s WebGL build is done with the mobile version awaiting final QA. A 3D avatar system is complete and awaiting review. PlugPlayEarn, pitched as a fast onboarding funnel to move Web2 players into Web3, is in final frontend implementation and validation.
The through line is distribution. Nakamoto has framed the Roblox work as part of a multi-platform push with consistent releases, aimed at an audience far larger than the one crypto gaming typically reaches.
The token hasn’t followed
Execution hasn’t shown up in the price. NAKA set an all-time low of $0.20 in April.
Part of the reason is structural. Siam Playground doesn’t require NAKA to play, so the link between Roblox player counts and token demand is indirect at best. Whatever value the Roblox slate creates has to travel through optional integrations and later products rather than through a gate at the door.
That tradeoff is the strategy, not a side effect of it. Nakamoto built the Roblox titles to be playable by people who have never held a token, and the studio has said so repeatedly since May.
Neither Escape from Era nor Steal & Defend appears in any coverage outside Nakamoto’s own channels.
