- The broader Roblox rollout is targeted for June and July, with multiple new maps, expanded gameplay systems and seasonal content infrastructure in development.
Nakamoto Games put its first Roblox environment live in beta, marking the Polygon-based gaming platform’s push into Web2’s largest user-generated gaming ecosystem.
Siam Playground, a Thai-themed multiplayer village, is the opening piece of what Nakamoto Games said has grown beyond its original scope into a larger interoperable ecosystem designed for long-term expansion and mainstream onboarding.
What’s live
The beta includes multiplayer village gameplay, progression mechanics, social and community systems, event and mini-game frameworks, backend infrastructure connectivity and Roblox economy integrations. UI/UX systems, mobile optimization and retention and onboarding mechanics are also in the current build, alongside festival environments and Thai-themed social spaces.
“This was never a simple ‘Roblox map’ launch,” Nakamoto Games said. “Over the past months, we have been building the foundation for a much larger interoperable ecosystem focused on scalability, retention, long term content expansion, and mass market accessibility.”
What’s coming
Development continues on multiple new maps, expanded gameplay systems, additional event mechanics, tutorial and inventory systems, community engagement layers, seasonal content infrastructure and performance optimization for larger audiences. The first broader public rollout is targeted during June and July.
Broader context
The Roblox expansion aligns with Nakamoto Games’ 2026 strategic pivot toward a Web2-first approach with optional Web3 integration. The platform, founded in 2020 by Bangkok-based NAKA Ventures, currently hosts over 200 games and reports 650,000 registered users across its ecosystem. Its $NAKA token operates on Polygon with cross-chain integrations across Solana, BNB Chain and Avalanche.
Roblox gives Nakamoto Games access to a mainstream audience that dwarfs typical crypto gaming player counts. Whether that translates to meaningful $NAKA ecosystem activity depends on what the bridge between the Roblox experience and the token economy actually looks like, something the team hasn’t detailed yet.
