In Brief:
- World of ClaudeCraft shipped v0.35.0 and built it around PvP, headlined by Thornhollow Fields, a ranked 5v5 capture-the-flag battleground pitting Crimson against Azure.
- Honor now buys a rebuilt item level 31 WARFARE gear tier across five sets.
- It’s the game’s first large-team ranked format, on top of a PvP system that until now ran on 1v1 and 2v2 arena ladders.
World of ClaudeCraft pushed v0.35.0 live and made it the PvP release. Thornhollow Fields is the centerpiece: a ranked 5v5 capture-the-flag battleground, Crimson against Azure, two keeps and one flag each.
The project said the first team to five captures wins. Its own repository documentation puts the win condition at first to three captures inside a 12-minute cap, so the shipped tuning may differ from the announcement.
v0.35.0 is live and it is the PvP release!

How it plays
Players press G to open the PvP window. Thornhollow Fields sits there as the primary tab, beside the 1v1 and 2v2 arena brackets, and you enter the queue solo or with a party of up to five. Parties stay together. Solo queuers fill the rest of the roster.
The field is walled and open-air with a keep at either end. Two full-width curtain walls cut it into three chambers: each team’s own field chamber plus the walled Ruin Courtyard in the middle, with contested crossings between them.
Taking the flag isn’t automatic. You steal the enemy banner with a deliberate press of the battleground action key, then run it to your own stand.
Rules against stalling
Carrier fatigue does the anti-turtle work. Hold the enemy flag too long and you take ever-increasing damage until it’s captured, dropped or returned.
Stealth gets no purchase either. Grabbing the flag breaks stealth, and a carrier who turns invisible drops it on the spot.
There’s no graveyard run. Each team’s fallen rise together on a staggered wave clock at their keep, briefly spawn-protected until they act.
What Honor buys
Ranked wins and Fiesta takedowns pay Honor, which the quartermaster in town trades for Warfare gear. The v0.35.0 tier is rebuilt at item level 31 and spans five sets.
Warfare remains a PvP-only stat. The set wins duels without ever out-gearing same-tier dungeon loot in PvE, which keeps battleground grinding out of the raid progression path.
The project also circulated community concept designs for the first PvP season item sets and said it’s waiting to see which ones get added.
Where it fits
Ranked PvP already covered two arena maps. The Drowned Court was added as a second ranked arena and the Ashen Coliseum pit was rebuilt with new cover and larger bounds, with ranked 1v1 and 2v2 rotating between the two. Both ladders carry a persistent Elo-style rating that starts everyone at 1500, plus an all-time leaderboard exposed through the arena API.
Two other modes sit alongside them. The 2v2 Fiesta runs on augment pickups and a closing ring, first to 15 takedowns, with augments including Bloodhunter, Overdrive, Apex Predator, Archmage and Avatar. Protect Yumi is unrated 3v3 and 5v5, fought in a maze where each team guards a cat familiar and tries to bring the other side’s down, so escorts and picks matter more than raw kills.
Background
v0.35.0 follows v0.34.0, which landed Aug. 5 as an economy and world release. That build added the guild bank, tradable mount reins, a reworked Drakelands with a new Dragonkin brood, profession tool-effect charms and a fishing-to-cooking loop, rebuilt Fenbridge and localized the game across 21 locales. It carried 971 commits since v0.33.1.
The game is free and open source, playable in a browser, an app or a client. The live world at worldofclaudecraft.com runs one persistent realm on Postgres-backed accounts, and the same seed and world drive an offline browser build, a local single-player sim and a headless reinforcement learning environment behind a Gym interface. Its economy runs on two tracks, with optional web3 elements including the WOC community token.
Developer Levy Street built the playable foundation with Anthropic’s Claude Fable 5 in two days and put it on the web June 13, 2026. Progression still runs from level 1 to 20 across handcrafted zones starting in Eastbrook Vale, with nine classic classes and elite dungeons.
The Steam page, app ID 4897790, has been up since before the PvP work started. It’s listed free-to-play and still offers nothing but a wishlist button while it waits on platform approval.
