The Tokyo stop of the Persona Live Tour 2026 had one more song left in it, and it wasn’t a song. Once the show ended, Atlus announced that Persona Super Live is coming back, and anyone waiting on Persona 6 should pay attention.
The concert series, built on the music of the Persona role-playing games, hasn’t run since 2022. After nearly five years away, its surprise return looks like a natural place for Atlus to finally say more about Persona 6.
Three days in Yokohama
The official Atlus Game Music account posted the announcement on X. Persona Super Live 2027 will run for three days, March 19-21, at Yokohama Buntai.
On paper, this is a big concert of songs from across the Persona series. If you can’t get to Yokohama, that doesn’t sound like much. But past Super Lives have included major game announcements, and fans are hoping this one delivers Persona 6 news.
Look at the calendar
The timing backs up that hope. Persona 4 Revival, a remake of the 2008 original, releases Feb. 18, 2027.
Atlus has made it pretty clear it doesn’t plan to share much about Persona 6 until the Persona 4 remake is out. The Super Live lands one month after Revival, which is right about when Atlus should be starting to promote the next mainline Persona game.
One teaser and a lot of gravestones
So far, fans have exactly one teaser trailer for Persona 6. It confirmed that the game’s signature color is green and hinted at a more somber story.
The teaser shows a field full of gravestones for a moment. Then the shadow of a hand hangs over one tomb, bigger than all the others. A flash of strange images follows and the trailer cuts out.
Don’t read too much into it. There’s always a chance the teaser won’t reflect the final game. (You remember Persona 5’s reveal trailer.)
The release date clues
Atlus hasn’t confirmed a release date, but there are a few clues. Obviously, Persona 6 comes after Persona 4 Revival.
We also know the game will get physical releases on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. And Sony has announced plans to stop producing physical discs for new games in January 2028. Put that together and Atlus will likely release Persona 6 before the end of 2027.
That leaves three nights in Yokohama next March. If Atlus has a second look at that green field of graves, that’s when you’d expect to see it.
