In Brief:
- Moku set the ticket price for its Pupkins Gen 0 mint at 15,000 $SCHIFFY per ticket, with no cap on how many tickets one wallet can buy.
- The no-loss raffle opens Oct. 27 at 11 a.m. ET (3 p.m. UTC) and covers 1,800 of 2,000 Boxes. Each Box holds two Pupkins.
- Losing tickets are refunded in $SCHIFFY. If entries pass 1,800 tickets, Moku will run a weighted draw based on tickets, Moki and $SCHIFFY holdings and deposit timing.
Moku has priced Pupkins Gen 0 raffle tickets at 15,000 $SCHIFFY each. The studio posted the number on X roughly 11 hours before the mint opened.
“You’ll need 15000 $SCHIFFY per 1 Ticket, and you can buy as many tickets as you want,” Moku said in the post. “This means if you deposit 300k Schiffy, you can purchase 20 tickets!”
Are you ready for the mint in 11 hours?
You'll need 15000 $SCHIFFY per 1 Ticket, and you can buy as many tickets as you want.
This means if you deposit 300k Schiffy, you can purchase 20 tickets!
However, having a ticket DOES NOT
The post went on with a caveat: “However, having a ticket DOES NOT”
The published rules spell out the limits. A ticket is a raffle entry. It isn’t a guaranteed Box.
How the raffle works
The mint opens Oct. 27 at 11 a.m. ET, or 3 p.m. UTC. Total supply is 2,000 Boxes with two Pupkins in each, so 4,000 Pupkins in all. Of those Boxes, 1,800 go into the raffle and 200 are held back for partnerships and treasury.
Moku described the format earlier: “Deposit a set amount of Schiffy per 1 ticket, as many tickets as you want.” Until now, the studio had said only that the price “will be announced closer to mint.”
Moku calls it a no-loss raffle. Losing tickets get a full refund within one week of the raffle closing.
“If you win, you get a box with 2 Pupkins – If you lose, you’ll get your Schiffy amount back,” Moku said.
Moku’s refund example came out before the final price was set and assumed a lower one: “if the ticket price is 10k Schiffy, you put in 50k Schiffy (5 tickets) and win 3 boxes, you would get 20k Schiffy back.”
Weighted draw if oversubscribed
If entries go past 1,800 tickets, the draw won’t be a flat lottery. Moku said odds will depend on how many tickets a player bought, how many Moki and how much $SCHIFFY they hold, and how early they deposited.
“The earlier you deposit and more assets you hold, the higher chance you’ll have of getting an NFT,” Moku said.
What Gen 0 holders get
Each Pupkin is an NFT that also works as a wallet for tokenized stock and $SCHIFFY. The breed decides which stocks a Pup holds.
“Trade the Pup and the stocks go with it,” Moku said.
Gen 0 Pups earn royalties from breeding fees across their whole bloodline. They also have pure class traits for selective breeding, and both Pups in a Box come from the same class.
Battle, Farm and Dungeons modes are planned for launch. A few days before the mint, Moku added Plots, a farm in the Pupkins world where players grow crops, gather resources and craft items.
The $SCHIFFY link
Moku created $SCHIFFY, and the token is now tied into more of the studio's games. Grand Arena Season 2, which starts this month on Ronin, puts part of Grand Arena revenue toward buying $SCHIFFY. Moku hasn’t said how big that share is.
A casual mobile game built around Schiffy is also in the works. In it, the dog digs up relics in his backyard and sells them to a museum.
$SCHIFFY trades on Uniswap, OpenSea, Fomo and Pump.fun. Moku lists the official contract as 0x42afa2124ca5a2b83898e46b2da9a190995b1e18 and has warned buyers about impersonators ahead of the mint.
“We will never DM you,” Moku said.
