Rewards go to the inbox

The patch is named for the redesigned in-game mail system. Rewards earned in play now go straight to a player’s inbox, which removes the manual collection steps that used to come between a win and the payout.

Chest rewards are now guaranteed. The drop rate went from 50% to 100%.

Two systems removed

The Battle Arsenal is gone. It controlled how players prepared for fights, and the team said the removal cuts the number of steps before a battle.

The patch also drops the Vera Condition layer, which limited how players could manage their characters. Under that system, Veras could lose up to 50% of their stats after losing Ranked or Tournament matches. Those penalties no longer apply.

Veras now start with their full set of species-specific abilities. The patch also makes tile selection on the hex-grid battlefield easier to read.

One account, one sign-in

Players can now sign in with Google, WeChat, email or a phone number. That replaces the old setup of split accounts and private-key backups, and all of a player’s progress now sits under one account.

Players with legacy wallets have to complete extra verification steps to migrate their assets. Holding $FLOKI or xFLOKI gives tier advantages, but buying tokens is “not required to start playing.”

The FLOKI account summed up the patch in its own post: “You asked. Valhalla delivered. ⚔️ All Vera abilities unlocked, rewards sent straight to your inbox, and fewer steps between you and the battlefield.”

The announcement didn’t say anything about $FLOKI’s price or token demand.

Built on 1.13.0

Special Delivery follows v1.13.0, which started the client-side work for a mobile release. The team said at the time that the patch would “prepare Valhalla for mobile, simplify battle and account systems, lay groundwork for upcoming economy changes, alongside other improvements.”

Those economy changes still haven’t been detailed. The game uses two in-game currencies, Runix and Onyx, alongside the FLOKI token.

Valhalla still runs only in a browser. The iOS and Android app was first promised for 2025 and is now scheduled for 2026.

Background

The FLOKI team builds Valhalla on opBNB. It’s an MMORPG where players collect, train and fight creatures called Veras on a hex-grid battlefield, complete quests and trade NFT items in a player-driven economy.

The game launched on mainnet June 30, 2025, after three years of development.

Account changes have caused friction before. In January 2025, FLOKI warned players ahead of an earlier wallet and account patch to “Connect Valhalla play accounts to wallets to prevent the loss of data and progress,” and said any account left unconnected would be wiped during the upgrade.
