In Brief:
- MARBLEX will end service for Seven Deadly Sins NFT Adventure on Nov. 11, 2026, at 11:00 (UTC+9).
- The closure arrives about three and a half months after the Kodansha-licensed second season of NFT Adventure went live on Immutable on July 30.
- It follows a September report that MARBLEX’s MBX token is down about 99% from its 2022 listing price and that the Netmarble subsidiary’s equity has gone negative.
MARBLEX will shut down Seven Deadly Sins NFT Adventure on Nov. 11, 2026, at 11:00 (UTC+9), the company said in a service termination notice posted to X.
The post sent users to a Medium announcement for “more details and important notes.” It didn’t explain what happens to NFTs still out on exploration or to Demon Meliodas NFTs staked for MBX. Players holding either should check the full notice before the cutoff.

A short run
The Seven Deadly Sins content was the second season of MARBLEX’s NFT Adventure service and the first built on IP licensed from Japanese publisher Kodansha. It launched July 30 at 14:00 UTC+9 on Immutable X, with trading on TokenTrove.
On Aug. 11, MARBLEX said the Seven Deadly Sins NFT collection had sold out, with all 15,000 NFTs summoned.
Players who cleared the adventure earned a Demon Mark. MARBLEX let them swap one Demon Mark plus 140 MBX for a Demon Meliodas NFT. Players without a mark could buy one outright for 180 MBX, so finishing the adventure was worth a 40 MBX discount.
Demon Meliodas had a cap of 1,000 NFTs. In a later X post, MARBLEX said nearly 200 were still left to claim.
Staking terms
Demon Meliodas was the only NFT in the season that could mine MBX through staking. A Level 1 NFT carried a lifetime mining allocation of 200 MBX, and a paid upgrade to Level 2 raised the maximum cumulative allocation to 900 MBX.
Staking ran at a base APR of 100%, and the NFT received a 3x boost on top of that.
“Demon Mark + 140 MBX = Demon Meliodas! Stake it to grab a total of 900 MBX with a massive 3x higher APR!” MARBLEX said in its announcement for the swap.
MARBLEX’s balance sheet
The shutdown follows a rough stretch for the company’s books. South Korean outlet MoneyToday reported in September that MARBLEX held assets of about 30.5 billion won against liabilities of 83.8 billion won as of late June.
Assets fell more than 50% from 68.2 billion won at the end of the previous year. MARBLEX posted a semiannual net loss of about 2.1 billion won, and total equity stood at negative 53.3 billion won, a state of complete capital impairment.
MBX traded at about 35 won, roughly 99% below its initial listing price in 2022, according to the report. The report tied the drop to the wider decline in virtual asset markets after the COVID-19 period.
Other bets
MARBLEX has said it will keep its Web3 business going on three tracks: building out MBX Store and MBX Pay, Web3 publishing beyond its own projects, and an all-in-one virtual asset financial gateway.
Its recent releases include Meta Toy Dragons Saga, which reached No. 1 on the Google Play Store within 10 days of its August launch, and Pixel Tamers, which launched globally in August. The company also announced an October partnership with Microsoft covering game publishing and AI.
But MARBLEX doesn’t expect quick growth at home.
“Web3 faces multiple regulations in South Korea, making significant growth difficult at this stage, so we view it as a future business and continue related research,” a MARBLEX representative said.
