What is Aurory?

Aurory is a game studio on Solana that builds creature-collecting games around characters called Amiko. It currently runs two titles. Amiko Arena is a free-to-play tactical RPG available now on the Epic Games Store, and Amiko Legends is a creature-collecting extraction RPG listed on Steam as coming soon for Windows. Amiko Arena is the rebrand of Seekers of Tokane, the game Aurory developed before. The ecosystem token is AURY on Solana. The official site is aurory.io.

Amiko Arena

In Amiko Arena you pick three Amiko and combine their abilities into a squad. Each Amiko belongs to one of six elements: Fire, Water, Plant, Earth, Wind and Lightning, so team building is about covering matchups as much as raw strength. The game has PvE and PvP, with daily PvP challenges that test how well your squad adapts and unlock exclusive rewards. The setting is the world of Okima. Arena items are digital collectibles that you own and can trade on the Aurory marketplace, which lists Prime Eggs, Amiko, Aurorian avatars, skins and other collectibles.

Amiko Legends

Amiko Legends is built around expeditions. You team up with Amiko and head into an untamed world that changes with your actions and with those of other players. You can charm wild Amiko to gain an edge, and every Amiko has its own personality, traits, elemental attributes and star rating, so the right team depends on the expedition in front of you. Creatures and scarce resources raise the stakes on each run: you decide how far to push, and only what you extract is yours to keep. Amiko populations shift and ecosystems respond the more players explore. The Steam page lists it as an adventure RPG from Aurory, and players can wishlist it there ahead of release.

AURY and the player economy

AURY is the Solana token that ties the Aurory games and marketplace together, and Amiko, skins and avatars can be held and traded as digital collectibles. Amiko Arena is free to play, so you can start without buying an Amiko first, and the marketplace is there for players who want specific creatures or cosmetics. Any value from trading depends on demand from other players, so the games are best treated as games first and an economy second.
