How it works and where the numbers come from
Each parent pays the SLP of its own breed count, so a pair pays the sum of two table values. After a breeding both parents move up one count. The fee in AXS is added once per breeding.
SLP = table(count A) + table(count B)
USD = SLP x SLP price + AXS fee x AXS pricePrices are filled from our token numbers (CoinGecko, with GeckoTerminal as backup) and you can overwrite them. Gas fees on Ronin and the marketplace fee when you sell are not included.

How much does it cost to breed an Axie?
Each breeding costs 0.5 AXS plus SLP from both parents. The SLP per parent runs from 900 at 0/7 to 15,300 at 6/7, so two fresh Axies pay 1,800 SLP and 0.5 AXS for their first breeding. Source: Sky Mavis Axie Breeding Guide.
How many times can an Axie be bred?
Up to 7 times. After that it is sterile and can not breed again.
Why does each breeding cost more than the last?
The SLP price depends on how many times the Axie has already been bred: 900, 1,350, 2,250, 3,600, 5,850, 9,450 and 15,300 SLP per parent for breedings 1 to 7. Breeding two fresh Axies together seven times costs 77,400 SLP and 3.5 AXS in total.
Is the AXS fee always 0.5?
The Sky Mavis guide, updated on 2026-09-28, says 0.5 AXS per breeding. The whitepaper calls the AXS part variable and open to adjustment, so check the breeding screen in the game before you confirm.
Does the calculator include gas or the marketplace fee?
No. It prices only the SLP and AXS the game charges. The profit planner adds a marketplace fee and your other costs.
