Breeding profit planner

Cost of a run against the prices you type: profit, margin and break-even.

No loginSaved in this browser

This planner compares the cost of a run of Axie breedings with the price you expect to sell the Axies for, and shows profit, margin and the break-even sale price of each breeding. Costs are the official SLP and AXS amounts at live token prices; the selling price, fees and extra costs are the numbers you type.

Estimate only, not financial advice. The cost of breeding is official; what an Axie sells for is yours to type, because it changes with every Axie. Check the real listings before you breed.

Break-even sale is the selling price at which that breeding pays for itself after the market fee. Later breedings cost more SLP, so it climbs.

How it works and where the numbers come from

Each breeding makes one egg. Its cost is the official SLP of both parents plus the AXS fee, priced at the token prices above, plus your other cost per breeding. The cost of the parents is counted once for the whole run.

cost of breeding i = (SLP of both) x SLP price + AXS fee x AXS price + other net sale = selling price x (1 - fee%) profit = net sales - all costs - cost of the parents break-even sale = cost of that breeding / (1 - fee%)

The market fee default of 4.25% is the rate in the Axie whitepaper; Sky Mavis can change it, so check it. Gas on Ronin and the time an egg needs to hatch (5 days) are not priced. Every egg is assumed to sell at the one price you typed.

FAQ

How is the profit calculated?

For each breeding we add the official SLP of both parents and the AXS fee at the token prices, plus your other cost. Net sales are the selling price you type after the market fee. Profit is net sales minus all costs and the cost of the parents.

Does the planner know what Axies sell for?

No. The selling price is yours to type because it differs for every Axie. Check the real listings before you breed.

Why do later breedings earn less?

The SLP price rises with every breeding, so the break-even sale price climbs while the price you can get may stay the same.

Where does the 4.25% market fee come from?

It is the share of marketplace sales that the Axie whitepaper says goes to the Community Treasury. Sky Mavis can change it, so you can overwrite the value.
