How it works and where the numbers come from
not restaked: rewards = stake x APR x days / 365
restaked n times a year: end = stake x (1 + APR / n) ^ (n x days / 365)
APY = (1 + APR / n) ^ n - 1The APR is a rate you give us; staking rewards on the real dashboard move with how much AXS is staked, so a fixed rate is a simplification. Fees, unstaking waits and gas are not included. According to the Axie whitepaper, the staking allocation is 78,300,000 AXS (29% of the 270 million maximum) released over about 5.5 years; see the AXS allocation page.

Which APR should I type?
The rate shown in the AXS staking dashboard. We do not know today's rate and it moves with how much AXS is staked, so the tool never guesses one.
What does restaking change?
If rewards are staked again they earn rewards too. The tool shows daily, weekly and monthly restaking next to plain simple interest and gives the effective yield (APY).
How much AXS is set aside for staking rewards?
The Axie whitepaper allocates 78,300,000 AXS, 29% of the 270 million maximum, for staking rewards, released over about 5.5 years.
Are fees and unstaking waits included?
No. Gas, fees and waiting periods are not counted, and neither is a change of the AXS price unless you type one.
