AXS is the governance token of Axie Infinity, with a fixed maximum of 270,000,000 tokens. This page shows how the Axie whitepaper split them between players, stakers, the team and investors, and puts today's supply next to it. The split is copied from the whitepaper; the supply figures are read live and dated.

"On Ronin" is the total supply the AXS contract on Ronin reports. AXS also exists on Ethereum, so it is not the whole supply.
How it works
Each allocation is the number of tokens the whitepaper reserves for a group; the share is that number divided by 270,000,000. The numbers add up to the maximum. Play and Earn is paid out to players and Staking Rewards to stakers; the other rows belong to the team, investors and ecosystem. The whitepaper also says that part of the Play and Earn and Ecosystem Fund allocations would only be issued when the game was ready for a growth phase, so unlocked is not the same as issued.
Today's circulating and maximum supply come from CoinGecko and the Ronin figure from the token contract, read over the public Ronin RPC. They are cached for five minutes and the page says how old they are.

What is the maximum supply of AXS?
270,000,000. The whitepaper says the total supply will never exceed that.
How is AXS split?
Staking rewards 29%, Sky Mavis 21%, play and earn 20%, public sale 11%, ecosystem fund 8%, advisors 7% and private sale 4%.
Is this allocation current?
It is the allocation in the Axie whitepaper, written when AXS launched. The release schedule was set in advance and ran for about five years, so most of it is already due. The live supply figures next to the table are today's.
How much AXS is circulating now?
The page shows the figure CoinGecko reports, with its age, next to the supply on Ronin read from the chain.
