In Brief:
- Debellum (official site) opened its beta on Android at 08:00 UTC, the studio said in a post on X.
- Each match puts 10 players in the arena and ends with one winner. iOS and desktop versions are listed as “coming soon.”
- The release follows a mobile closed beta that started May 18, 2026, on iOS and Android and was limited to selected testers.
Debellum’s beta is live on Android.
The team announced the opening on X with a staggered list of start times: 08:00 UTC, 16:00 SGT, 15:00 ICT, 09:00 CET and 03:00 ET. It didn’t give a date for iOS or desktop. Both are marked “coming soon.”
The wait is over.
The Debellum beta opens TODAY on Android.
08:00 UTC · 16:00 SGT · 15:00 ICT · 09:00 CET · 03:00 ET
Ten players. One winner. See you in the arena.
iOS & desktop coming soon.
“The wait is over,” the post said.
Android first
This release covers one platform. That’s different from the closed test that started in May, when selected testers got iOS builds through TestFlight and Android builds through a special Google Play Store link.
The May build was the first playable version of Debellum available outside internal development. Testers had to receive specific access instructions. Everyone else had to wait for a later test round or the full release.
The new post doesn’t say whether the Android beta has the same access limits. It also doesn’t mention a waitlist, an invite system or anything about rewards.
Ten to a match
The announcement put the format in one line: ten players, one winner.
Debellum is a free-to-play arena brawler and battle royale on MegaETH, the Ethereum Layer 2 that bills itself as a real-time blockchain capable of more than 100,000 transactions per second. Players fight in compact top-down arenas as chibi low-poly characters, using cover and obstacles, and the last player standing wins.
On mobile, movement sits on the left side of the screen and combat abilities on the right. The game supports solo battle royale and team fights.
Spectators with a stake
Debellum’s main hook is its spectator system. Viewers can watch live matches and back specific players while the match is underway, which ties the game’s social side directly to its economy.
The closed beta build had several maps with different battle settings. It also had an in-game currency, which suggested rewards may be linked to how players perform in matches. The studio hasn’t detailed how that economy will work in the current beta.
Built on MegaETH
Debellum has been described as available on iOS, Android and the web. With this beta, Android comes first and the other platforms are still pending.
The post ended the way it started, short: “Ten players. One winner. See you in the arena.”
