Twenty bucks. That’s what Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth costs on PlayStation 5 right now at Amazon, where it’s fallen to $19.99, a record low for a game that ate up entire winters when it launched.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version is down too, sitting at $34.99. Also a record low.
If you’ve been putting off a return trip to Rebirth, especially with Final Fantasy 7 Revelation on the horizon, the excuse has arrived.
The Switch 2 version comes with something the PS5 one doesn’t
Buy Rebirth on Switch 2 and you get an exclusive Magic: The Gathering Final Fantasy promo card featuring Zack Fair. Which makes that $34.99 land differently if you happen to play both.
The card uses alternate Zack art by Tetsuya Nomura, the original game’s lead character designer and creative director of the remake trilogy. Per the store page, it carries the same abilities as the standard Zack Fair card from the MTG Final Fantasy set.
One catch worth knowing before you click buy. The physical Switch 2 copy is a Game-Key Card, so you’ll be downloading the game before you play a second of it.
Remake Intergrade dropped too, and the math gets interesting
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade on Switch 2 has slid to $29.99 at Amazon, a hair above its lowest-ever price there of $29.83.
Intergrade packages the full events of Final Fantasy 7 Remake with Yuffie’s side story in FF7R Episode INTERmission, which feeds directly into Rebirth.
So a Switch 2 owner trying to catch up before the third and final entry can grab both games for roughly $65. Two enormous RPGs and a promo card for the price of one new release.
Don’t sit on this one
These prices may not stick around. The PlayStation 5 deal already went out of stock once before coming back, and we may not see numbers this low again for a while.
Nineteen ninety-nine for Rebirth. Go.
