Codyfight

Codyfight is a turn-based strategy game with a sci-fi framing, built around collectible characters called Codies that live on Ethereum as player-owned assets. The core loop is one-on-one player-versus-player matches: you field a Cody, fight another player's, earn rewards, and climb a leaderboard. Characters carry their own attributes and skills, and those skills level up through play, so a Cody accumulates value from use rather than being static.

What works, on paper, is the fit between format and chain. Turn-based combat is a genuinely good match for on-chain ownership — outcomes are discrete and verifiable, and a leveled-up character is a meaningful thing to actually own or trade. The PvP-first structure also means the game's depth lives in matchups rather than in a grind.

The reservations are the familiar ones for a PvP-only collectible game: progress attaches to characters you can buy, so a healthy match queue and sane matchmaking matter more than the strategy layer itself, and none of that is visible from the outside. There is no single-player or cooperative alternative described here.

It suits players who like tactical, turn-based duels and are comfortable holding Ethereum assets. Anyone wanting a story mode or an offline experience should look elsewhere.
