What is Loot Survivor?
Loot Survivor is a fully onchain dungeon crawler RPG built on Starknet with the Dojo engine by Provable Games. Its items come from the Loot project, all game logic runs onchain, and verifiable randomness (VRF) decides outcomes. The first version launched on October 31, 2023, alongside the original Golden Tokens. The current game runs at lootsurvivor.io and is powered by Death Mountain, a no-code onchain dungeon creator from the same team.
How to play
Players choose a game mode and start a new adventurer, who begins with 100 health points. Free mode needs only a modern browser, with no wallet, gas or ticket. Full mode uses a Cartridge Controller wallet and a dungeon ticket bought in the game, with no gas fees. The adventurer explores an endless dungeon, facing 75 beast types and 75 obstacles. Combat is turn-based and follows a weapon triangle of Magical, Brute and Hunter. Luck raises critical hit chances, Dexterity helps with fleeing, and Vitality raises health. Experience points level the character up and give stat points to spend across seven core stats. Death is permanent, but assets the adventurer earned remain onchain.
Items, tickets and tokens
The loot system holds 101 items across five tiers, from T1 Legendary to T5 Common, fitted into eight equipment slots. Items gain greatness over time, which unlocks name prefixes and suffixes. A shop sells items whose prices depend on Charisma and rotate as the adventurer levels. Each dungeon ticket grants one entry and a chance to collect Beast NFTs, and players earn SURVIVOR tokens based on their performance. Golden Token V2 launched on September 5, 2025.
