Welcome3 adds Sleepagotchi and Gotchi Labs to its private network

Welcome3 said Sleepagotchi and Gotchi Labs are now members of its network, putting the sleep app and its parent company inside a group whose roster runs to exchanges, funds and infrastructure teams.

“@sleepagotchi and Gotchi Labs are now a part of Welcome3,” the network said in a post on X. “Sleep tracking was just the beginning.”

The post put the AI Sleep Coach at “500K+ users and ~80K daily actives” and called Sleepagotchi “the first live vertical under Gotchi Labs.” It ended with one word: “Apply.”

Neither side disclosed terms. Welcome3 runs on applications rather than open signup and hasn’t published a fee or an intake schedule.

What Welcome3 is

Welcome3 bills itself as “the network behind the network,” a private community of founders, investors and operators connected through warm introductions and shared reputation. Its pitch rests on a claim about failure modes: that promising projects die because they hire the wrong advisors, market makers and operators, or get introduced to the wrong people.

Membership is split into four buckets. VCs and institutional investors, founders and project teams, centralized and decentralized exchange operators and listing managers, and vetted agencies, recruiters and specialists. Beneath those sit sector groupings for gaming, DeFi, Bitcoin, recruitment and stablecoin payments.

Organizations the network associates itself with include MetaMask, Animoca Brands (official site), BNB Chain, TON Foundation, Monad, Coinbase, Avalanche, Sui, CertiK, Anchorage Digital, eToro, AWS and EthCC.

The Gotchi Labs reorganization

Sleepagotchi announced Gotchi Labs earlier this month as a consumer AI platform spanning several everyday-life categories, with health and wellness as the entry point. The SLEEP token becomes CHI in the same move, extended across products, rewards, access and commerce.

The app itself isn’t going away. It becomes the health and wellness vertical, with four agents planned around it: a Sleep Coach that tracks recovery, a Wellness Coach that connects habits, a Meal Planner and a Shopping Agent. The stated sequence after wellness is fitness, then shopping, then productivity.

CHI is a planned Solana token. The company hasn’t set a TGE date, citing legal reasons. Its published design has users spending CHI on subscription discounts and premium agent features, staking for higher tiers, and wellness brands and coaches staking to list on the platform and run campaigns against permissioned user segments.

Data comes from Apple Watch, Fitbit, Mi Band, Oura, WHOOP and phone sensors. The company said its wake-detection model hit better than 90% accuracy on phone sensors alone in internal testing.

The numbers behind the app

Sleepagotchi reported passing 2.2 million all-time registered users across its main mobile app and its LITE companion, with daily actives at 78,688 after the AI Sleep Coach MVP launched in May. The Telegram version alone accounts for 2 million all-time users.

The Telegram app ranked among the platform’s top five grossing applications in the first quarter of 2025, with roughly 41% yearly retention. On iOS and Android, the company logged more than 300,000 new unique users over a trailing 12 months and peaked near 180,000 in a single month.

Usage clusters at the edges of the day. Activity concentrates in the first 10 minutes after waking and the last 30 minutes before bed, averaging 1.5 sessions per user per day.

Money and management

The company has raised $6.5 million. Backers include 6th Man Ventures, Collab+Currency, Sfermion, 1kx, Alliance, Signum Capital, Everyrealm and GSR.

Kenny Wood took over as CEO in May, with founder Anton Kraminkin moving to strategic advisor. Wood spent two decades in games, starting as an artist on Mattel’s Barbie titles and later working on Mat Hoffman’s Pro BMX, Transformers, Formula 1 and World Rally Championship. He was CTO of AI world-generation startup Moonlander before Alpha 3D acquired it.

“Users are generating the world’s most valuable biometric data daily, and yet they own none of it,” Wood said in a statement announcing the pivot.

Shalini Wood and Aditya Julka, founders of Signal Labs, joined as growth partners alongside the Gotchi Labs announcement. The company has also worked with Solana, Soneium and Square Enix.

Sleepagotchi marked the Welcome3 news in its own register. “Gotchi energy enters Welcome3,” the account posted. “Dino made the guest list.”
