What is Vox?
Vox is a line of collectible 3D avatars from Gala Labs, the studio behind the Gala Games ecosystem. It is a collectible rather than a playable open-world game. The inaugural series is 8,888 ERC-721 tokens on Ethereum, with characters inspired by Gala Games' Town Star. Each Vox sold at 0.0888 ETH plus gas in August 2021, and buyers needed a Web3 wallet such as MetaMask.
What owners get
Every owner receives an FBX 3D file of their avatar that can be animated, used in augmented reality or 3D printed. The 2021 press release described connection to the Gala Games metaverse, including earning VoxCoin through play, as future functionality rather than something delivered at launch. The collection is not played in a browser, and the official site collectvox.com returned no readable content when checked in November 2026.
Rewards and earning
No earning rates are documented. The only reward mechanism in the launch material is planned VoxCoin earning through future Gala Games integrations, so any value in a Vox depends on what Gala builds and on the market for the NFT.

Vox is a line of voxel-style 3D avatar collectibles from Gala Labs. The inaugural 2021 series of 8,888 ERC-721 tokens on Ethereum drew its characters from Gala's own Town Star, and the pitch was portability: every holder gets a downloadable FBX file to animate, render, 3D print or use in AR, plus benefits meant to connect to the Gala Games metaverse. Later drops leaned on licensed IP, including DreamWorks Trolls.
The strength is the asset itself: an animatable model whose file you control. The weakness is that its usefulness was always contingent on a roadmap, and the launch material framed VoxCoin earning and metaverse connection as future functionality. Gala's separate mobile game VEXI Villages entered early access on iOS and Android in 2025, and its Android listing uses the package name com.gala.voxverse, but the pages checked do not state how it relates to Vox NFTs.
It suits Gala ecosystem collectors comfortable holding an avatar whose worth depends on integrations still being built. Players who want a game first should look elsewhere.
