God win rates

Win rate per god and god power from a labelled match sample.

No loginSaved in this browser

How often each god wins, counted from a sample of recent finished games taken from the public Gods Unchained match data. Every table says how many games it rests on and which dates they cover. The sample is a twenty-minute slice of every hour, not every game, and a win rate depends on the players as much as on the god.

A deck is one side of a game, so each game adds two decks. Gods whose ranges overlap cannot be told apart from this sample.

Matchups

Each cell is the win rate of the god in the row against the god in the column, with the number of games. Cells under 30 games are faded. Mirror matches are left out.

Method

Our server reads finished games from the public match data of Gods Unchained: one twenty-minute slice of every hour, from a hourly job that makes at most one request every half hour. Each game gives two decks and one winner. Games where either side used a free starter deck are dropped, and only the Ranked, Casual and Conquest modes are counted. The 95 percent range is the Wilson interval for the win rate, which is wide when games are few. The figures cover the dates printed above and move as new slices arrive. For single cards see card win rates.

FAQ

How big is the sample?

The page prints the number of games and the dates. It is a twenty-minute slice of every hour from the public match data, not every game.

What is the range next to each win rate?

A 95 percent Wilson interval. With few games the range is wide, and two gods whose ranges overlap cannot be told apart from this sample.

Are bots and starter decks counted?

Games where either side used a free starter deck are left out. Only the Ranked, Casual and Conquest modes are counted. God figures count every game; card figures count each player deck once.

Does a high win rate mean a god is strongest?

Not by itself. Win rate also depends on who plays the god and at which rank. Use it as one clue.
