Gods Unchained (official site) is changing how card fusing works. From Wednesday, November 4, the Forge runs entirely inside the launcher: hit Fuse, wait a few seconds, and the new card lands in your wallet. You no longer get sent to the website to sign two transactions for every forge.
Burning your cards, paying the fee and minting the new card now happen as one action. Either all three go through or none of them do.
The one-time setup
The first time you forge with a wallet after November 4, the launcher asks you to do a one-time setup in your browser. You approve the Forge to burn the cards you pick and to collect the GODS fee for each forge. After that, every forge from that wallet takes one click.

- Each wallet needs its own setup, so you’ll go through it once for every wallet you use. If you switch wallets and get asked again, that’s expected.
- With IMX Passport, the approval opens in a pop-up. If your browser blocks pop-ups, allow them for the launcher.
- MetaMask users do the setup in the browser with MetaMask, the same way forging worked before. You won’t need MetaMask to forge after that.
Recipes and costs stay the same. The same cards go in, the same card comes out, and the Flux and GODS fees for each rarity haven’t changed. The forged card is still an NFT in your wallet, and you own and trade it exactly as before.
If you have a forge still waiting for a signature on the website, finish it before November 4. You’ll find it in your Forge history in the launcher.

Why the Forge changed
Burning cards and paying the fee used to be two separate transactions. Very occasionally, a forge ended with the cards burned and no new card minted. Putting everything in one transaction closes that gap, and players no longer have to bounce between the launcher and the website.
The approvals are there because the Forge now handles the burn and the fee payment itself. It only acts when you start a forge in the launcher, and only on the cards you picked and the fee shown on screen. Your wallet may show the GODS permission as an unlimited approval. That approval lets later forges go through without asking again, and it is only used to collect the fee for a forge you start. You can revoke either approval from your wallet at any time, and the launcher will ask you to set it up again on your next forge.
If something goes wrong
A failed forge doesn’t cost you your cards. Burn, payment and mint are a single action, so if it doesn’t complete, your cards stay where they are and you aren’t charged. You can just try again.
If the launcher says a forge is still processing, the network is taking longer than usual. The forge finishes on its own, and it should show up in your Forge history a few minutes later.
The fee comes out of the wallet you select in the Forge, so that wallet needs enough GODS to cover it. GODS is issued by Gods Unchained Corporation (BVI). Immutable Pty Ltd is an independent service provider and does not issue GODS.
