In Brief:
- Solana Mobile said more than 50% of the SKR distributed for Seeker Summer Round 1 was staked rather than moved or sold.
- Round 1 paid out 25 million SKR across three tiers of 1,000, 2,000 and 3,000 tokens, with claims opening July 17 at 4 p.m. UTC and a 30-day window.
- The rate sits just above the roughly 49% of Season 1 claimants who were staking in late January, when SKR launched.
More than half the SKR distributed to Seeker Summer Round 1 participants was staked, Solana Mobile said in a post on its Seeker account.
“Over 50% of Seeker Summer Round 1 SKR airdrops were staked,” the company said. It gave no token count, no wallet count and no breakdown by tier.

Round 1 put 25 million SKR into circulation. Claims opened July 17 at 4 p.m. UTC through the Activity Tracking tab in the Seed Vault Wallet, and the window runs 30 days, a third of the 90 days Solana Mobile gave Season 1 recipients.
The payout used three tiers: 1,000 SKR, 2,000 SKR and 3,000 SKR. Tokens can be staked as soon as they’re claimed.
Compared with January
Season 1 was a different order of magnitude. On Jan. 21 Solana Mobile distributed 1.819 billion SKR to 100,908 users across five tiers running from Scout at 5,000 SKR to Sovereign at 750,000 SKR, plus 141,030,000 SKR to 188 developers who shipped to the Solana dApp Store. That claim window closed April 20, and unclaimed tokens went back to the airdrop pool.
By late January, more than 49% of Seeker owners who had claimed were staking. During the launch window over 3.6 billion SKR, about 64% of circulating supply, sat staked.
Where the tokens go
Staked SKR is delegated to Guardians, the node operators that verify Seeker devices and review dApp Store submissions. Guardians are elected by the holders who stake to them, and stakers vote on economic parameters and ecosystem spending.
Solana Mobile runs the first Guardian at 0% commission. Helius, DoubleZero, Anza, Triton and Jito are set to launch as additional Guardians later this year.
Rewards come out of inflation, which pays every 48 hours and compounds automatically. Epochs are two days and unstaking carries a 48-hour cooldown. Inflation started at 10% a year at TGE and drops 25% annually until it settles at 2%.
Yields have compressed alongside it. Staking opened near 28% APY in January. By April the figure was roughly 19%.
How Round 1 worked
Seeker Summer runs July 7 through Aug. 30 under Season 2, structured as four rounds of two weeks with four apps each, 16 in total. Every app carries two quests, and clearing one earns a badge stamped with the app, the quest and the date, stored in the dApp Store and the wallet’s Activity Tracking tab.
Round 1 opened July 7 with TokenRun, GEODNET’s location-based treasure hunt built for the Seeker. The quests were Strike Gold, which required finding and opening a chest, and Buried Treasure, which required traveling to a hex on the map and digging up a message. Burying a message for other players didn’t count toward the badge.
Round 2 started July 20 with Moonwalk Fitness. Its “Fuel Up” quest requires depositing 100 MF tokens through the Seed Vault Wallet by July 28 and converting them to in-app credits. Seeker owners get a 20% experience point boost inside the app. Moonwalk raised $3.4 million in seed funding in October 2024 from investors including Hack VC and Binance Labs.
Supply and price
SKR has a fixed supply of 10 billion. Airdrops account for 30%, growth and partnerships 25%, liquidity and launch activity 10%, and the community treasury 10%, with Solana Mobile holding 15% and Solana Labs 10%. Slightly more than half the supply, about 5.7 billion tokens, is circulating.
The token opened at $0.06 on Jan. 21 and fell to $0.04 as recipients sold. It traded near $0.045 on Jan. 22, $0.020 in March, $0.016 in May and about $0.014 at the start of June.
Solana Mobile is also cutting the $500 Seeker by 20% through Aug. 30 with the code CARDS20 via Solana Pay, capped at 5,000 units, with the first buyers getting a free $50 Collector Crypt pack.
