In Brief:
- Rebel Cars (official site) said development is done on seven core gameplay systems, including all race flags, weekly events, pit logic and tire compounds.
- Tire temperature and burnouts were marked “FIXED” rather than ready, the only repair on the list.
- The Unreal Engine 5 racing title runs on Elysium and raised more than $3 million in its April 2024 token sale. It still has no announced release date.
Rebel Cars has finished building seven of its core gameplay systems, the studio said in a post on X.
Six were marked ready: all race flags, weekly events, pit logic, different tire compounds, the player profile and the friend system. A seventh, tire temperature and burnouts, was marked “FIXED” instead, making it the only entry on the list described as a repair rather than a completion.

“Hello @everyone we have finished the development for major compents,” the post said.
The post breaks off after the word “The” and no further detail accompanied the checklist. The studio gave no build number, no playtest window and no release date.
What the list covers
Every item is simulation-side rather than economic. Flags, pit logic and tire behavior are race-session mechanics; the update didn’t mention the game’s asset layer, its marketplace or the RC token.
Weekly events and the friend system are the two social features on the list. Rebel Cars has previously described a matchmaking system that pairs racers by skill level for both casual and competitive events, plus a co-op mode alongside single-player online racing.
The player profile also sits next to a feature the studio has pitched since the start: racing statistics and achievements recorded on-chain, so players can point to a verified record of their results.
Where the project stands
Rebel Cars is built by IXOR Digital on Unreal Engine 5 and launched exclusively on Elysium, the VulcanForged chain. Andronikos “Andros” Bisogiannis, who has more than 20 years in visual effects and gaming, founded IXOR Digital and is chief executive of Rebel Cars. The studio says it has worked with more than 200 clients across more than 300 projects.
The game’s initial DEX offering ran April 3 to April 15, 2024 through the Elysium Launchpad, the first IDO on that chain. It sold out and raised more than $3 million. Three tiers opened at 6 p.m. UTC on April 3, requiring 200, 100 or 50 locked PYR for allocations of $20,000, $10,000 and $5,000 in RC plus bonus NFT car assets.
RC listed on MEXC as RC/USDT after the sale. The in-game CGI NFT marketplace opened July 15, 2024, taking RC at a 10% discount or USDT.
Assets use the ERC-6551 standard. Track Shares let holders buy into circuits including Monaco, Suzuka, Dubai and Monza, with shareholders earning a cut of revenue from race participation fees, in-game advertising and special events.
Licensed vehicles already tradable through the official marketplace include the Audi A3, BMW M4 and Ferrari 812. The team has said it aims to ship 100 cars at launch, each with its own performance characteristics, and to expand past 1,000 over time. Customization runs from engine and suspension changes to aerodynamics, paint, decals and a livery editor.
The first playable demo appeared at VulCon4 in June 2024. Playing requires a RebelCars.io account and a downloaded client, and the game was planned as PC-first, with other platforms dependent on demand.
Card payments are not one of the finished components. The team is still working to integrate VISA, American Express and Mastercard so players can buy in-game assets directly, and that feature isn’t live.
RC hit an all-time high near $0.042 in July 2024. It bottomed around $0.0009 in July 2026.
