Ragnarok Online Landverse: Classic!
Relive the nostalgia of classic Ragnarok with Episode 5.0 and Class 2-1!
TWO ways to play on the same server:
Manual Play: Take on the adventure yourself and experience true classic Ragnarok gameplay.
Auto Hunting: Level up and farm items

The game puts two play styles on one server. Ronin’s post described them as “Manual Play: Take on the adventure yourself and experience true classic Ragnarok gameplay” and “Auto Hunting: Level up and farm items.”

One server, two channels

The split works at the channel level. Classic uses a “1 Server, 2 Channels” setup: Channel 1 is for Manual Play and Channel 2 is for Auto Hunting.

Players who grind by hand and players who run automated hunts stay in the same world. The two groups don’t get separate servers.

Job progression stops at the Class 2-1 era cap of Base 99 and Job 50. The game also supports large-scale PvP and War of Emperium guild battles.

Built for Southeast Asia

Gravity Game Tech and Maxion have opened pre-registration and an official community for the Southeast Asia region. The tagline is “Back to Basic.”

Classic runs on the Freya Engine, which the developers said supports more than 100,000 players on a single server. All Southeast Asian players will share that one server.

The game is cross-platform. Players can use a web browser, mobile or Windows, and one account works across devices.

Pre-registration rewards unlock at four milestones: 10,000, 30,000, 50,000 and 100,000 sign-ups. The 100,000 reward is a costume “based on the country with the most pre-registrations,” according to the official site.

The Ronin connection

The Classic site offers Google and Ronin Wallet as login options. It doesn’t give details on tokens or NFTs.

An in-game marketplace called “The Landverse Trading Hub” is listed as “Coming Soon.” The game guide section has the same label, and the site gives no launch date.

Maxion PTE. LTD. publishes the game. The site lists the copyright as “Gravity Co.,Ltd. x Maxion PTE. LTD.”

Background

Classic is separate from the earlier Landverse releases. Ragnarok Landverse (official site): Genesis officially launched on March 29, 2025, and was based on Episode 4.0. Classic moves the content forward to Episode 5.0.

Maxion first launched Ragnarok Landverse in September 2023, and it passed 500,000 downloads worldwide. Before the move to Ronin, the game had a soft launch on BNB Chain. It had recorded about $15 million in NFT sales and more than 400,000 players by then.

Maxion’s parent company Zentry ZENT $0.001628 ▼ -7.3% also runs a validator node on Ronin. Landverse was the second Ragnarok title on the network, after Ragnarok: Monster World.

The original Ragnarok Online launched in 2002. Classic’s official community is on Facebook, X and Instagram under the ROLClassicSEA handle.
