Ronin Waypoint has eight days left. The network said its Waypoint migration has entered its last stage, a grace period that runs until Oct. 31, 2026, at 11:00 ET, 15:00 UTC and 22:00 in Vietnam.
“After that, Ronin Waypoint will be fully sunset, and the migration will be complete!” Ronin said in a post on X.

What the grace period covers
The grace period isn’t a fresh extension for new migrations. “The Grace Period gives our users time to resolve any outstanding issues raised via X, Discord or Ticket,” Ronin said.
Users who hit an error are told to file a report at support.roninchain.com. Ronin asked for a wallet address with a screenshot, or a transaction hash or failure message. The migration flow is at wallet.roninchain.com/app/migrating.
Seed phrase and hardware wallet users don’t need to do anything. Ronin said problems involving in-game progression or soulbound assets in individual Ronin games should go to those games’ own teams.
Who has to move
The shutdown hits every account created through Waypoint. Ronin has told users that MPC wallets, keyless wallets and social login accounts on the chain are all the same product as Waypoint.
Those users have two destinations. Ronin Stash keeps email and social login access, while a standard Ronin Wallet is secured by a seed phrase.
Nothing moves on its own. Axie Infinity AXS $0.9805 ▼ -4.4% told players that “your assets stay in your Waypoint wallet until you transfer them” and warned that “Assets left in a Waypoint wallet may become inaccessible.”
Axie’s separate step
Axie Infinity players face an extra step. Their bAXS and badges need a separate migration on App.axie, which requires linking a seed phrase wallet to the player’s Axie account.
Each player can do that migration only once. Badges attached to assets travel with those assets, and Axie said badge and bAXS transfers are permanent once signed.
A deadline that kept moving
Ronin first set a Sept. 12 deadline when it announced the switch. “Ronin Waypoint is now Ronin Stash! Migrate your tokens and NFTs before September 12th,” the network said at the time.
The same post laid out the reasoning. “Keyless wallets make it possible for more people to onboard into crypto and get started on Ronin. In 2024, we launched Ronin Waypoint to accomplish this mission. Today, we’re plugging into Privy,” Ronin said.
The date slipped more than once. In a later post, Ronin said it was giving users “an additional 2 weeks to complete your Ronin Waypoint migrations!” after an earlier cutoff passed.
“The deadline for migration was technically yesterday. However, we’ve seen a few cases of reactivated users that were surprised by the deadline and requested extensions,” Ronin said.
Oct. 16 became the next hard date. Ronin’s post for that deadline read: “Have you used a Waypoint account, keyless wallet, or social login feature on Ronin? You NEED to migrate your assets before the deadline or you’ll lose access to your account.”
