The post put three features up front: “Thousand monster swarms,” “Dynamic zone bosses” and “Relentless progression.” It didn’t include a release date.

No date yet

The game’s Steam page lists the release as “Coming soon” and says a demo is available to download. Earlier this year the studio had put the launch window at Q3 2026. That quarter ended Sept. 30.

AlwaysGeeky Games Inc. is listed as both developer and publisher. Steam tags the game as Action, Casual, Indie and RPG.

The store page lists Windows 11 and macOS Sonoma or later, and it shows the game as verified and optimized for Steam Deck. The game supports single-player, online co-op, shared and split-screen co-op and Remote Play Together. It’s available in seven languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Greek and Portuguese.

Missions over standing still

The studio pitches the game as a bullet heaven roguelite with a story and set objectives. It isn’t a pure endurance run. Its Steam listing says players “Break monster swarms, lockdown rescue missions, and crush apex bosses as you weave through deep story driven chaos.”

The store copy says enemy swarms react to how the player moves. To get through a run, players complete field missions and find clues in the story. Those earn character upgrades and rolls for new weapon combos.

Beating a boss opens escape portals PORTALS $0.003355 ▲ +5.5% at the end of a round. That feeds a meta progression loop of permanent upgrades. Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing are all supported.

Next Fest run

On May 28, Voxies said the game would be part of Steam Next Fest on June 15. At the same time, it announced a tournament with a 40,000 VOXEL prize pool. The tournament had already started when it was announced.

AlwaysGeeky first showed the game in a March 31 post on X. “Voxie Survivor coming soon from AlwaysGeeky Games,” the studio wrote.

Background

Voxie Tactics launched in 2021 on Polygon. It’s a tactics RPG modeled on games from the 1990s and 2000s, with PvP battles and PvE modes such as Dragonfest. Voxie characters and assets are NFTs, and the game includes forging, leveling and pets.

VOXEL is an ERC-20 utility token with a total supply of 300 million, of which 105 million is circulating. Players use it to buy assets, upgrades and services. They earn it in PvP battles, and distribution is planned over five years.

The Survivor teaser came with a short note from AlwaysGeeky’s earlier promo cycle still pinned to the studio’s feed: “It’s getting hot in here!”
