YGG Play Launchpad and $LOL Token Everything You Need to Know

The Web3 gaming ecosystem continues to evolve, and Yield Guild Games (YGG) has launched a significant campaign through its YGG Play Launchpad, featuring the debut of the $LOL token, the first-ever token to go live on the platform. This initiative combines game-based rewards, token launches, and community engagement, marking another key step in the growth of Web3 gaming.

Inspired by @iiqwiix’s tweet on X, I decided to share some information about YGG PLAY and LOL Land.

What Is YGG Play Launchpad?

YGG Play Launchpad is a new platform created by Yield Guild Games, a Web3 gaming guild known for building communities, empowering players to earn through gameplay, and giving creators ownership in the process.

The launchpad allows players to discover and engage with new blockchain games, such as LOL Land, by completing quests and earning points. These activities connect gamers directly with upcoming projects and token launches, creating a more interactive entry point into Web3 gaming.

How Players Earn Rewards

Players participating in Launchpad activities earn YGG Play Points, which serve as loyalty rewards within the ecosystem. These points do not have a direct cash value but hold significant weight in determining player priority during future token launches and exclusive events.

The system updates player points automatically every day at midnight UTC, and the more points a player earns, the greater their access to future opportunities, including token allocations.

Introducing the $LOL Token

The $LOL token is the central focus of this campaign. It is designed as a reward and loyalty token for players within the LOL Land ecosystem. Players can stake their $LOL to level up their VIP rank, unlocking additional perks and rewards.

$LOL will not be listed on centralized exchanges but will instead trade on decentralized platforms. It also plays a key role in the VIP Staking System, encouraging long-term engagement.

Key campaign dates include:

• October 15: Launchpad release for quests and point earning
• October 29–31: Contribution period for earning $LOL using $YGG and Play Points
• November 1: Official $LOL launch on Abstract Chain

Tokenomics and Liquidity

The total supply of $LOL is 5 billion tokens, with a fully diluted valuation (FDV) of $900,000. The Launchpad campaign aims to raise $90,000 worth of $YGG, all of which will go directly into the LOL Pool to support in-game activity.

A liquidity pool of $180,000 in $YGG/$LOL has been created, with a 1% swap fee on trades contributing to pool growth until it reaches $1 million. Beyond that point, fees will be redirected to a Player Rewards Pool, ensuring ongoing benefits for the community.

Play-to-Airdrop Campaign

The Play 2 Airdrop (P2A) initiative allows LOL Land players to earn $LOL tokens simply by playing the game. The airdrop will take place over two seasons, distributing 10% of the total token supply as player rewards.

Season 1 began from August 15 to October 29, 2025, and players must opt in via the in-game interface to qualify. Rewards are based on spending, activity, and leaderboard ranking, with the top 50 players sharing the majority of the rewards.

Token Distribution

• 10% – LOL Land Dev Team (Hype Reel), with a 6-month lock and 18-month vesting
• 10% – Play 2 Airdrop rewards
• 10% – YGG Play Launchpad event
• 10% – LOL Pool (liquidity)
• 60% – Future in-game rewards and emissions reserve
• 0% – Allocated to YGG Play (ensuring community ownership)

The YGG Play Launchpad already supports other Web3 games, including LOL Land, GigaChad Battle, Gigaverse, and Proof of Play. Players can expect more launches, events, and quests in the coming months, all designed to expand the reach of YGG’s gaming ecosystem.
