Outlanders

Outlanders is a medieval fantasy MMORPG on BNB Chain, set in a world called Farworld and framed by a story in which King Arthur recruits champions from beyond his own realm. It is built in Unity and runs through WebGL, and its defining design choice is that it is classless: you have one character who can pick up any weapon, and expertise accumulates from what you actually do — crafting, gathering, treasure hunting — rather than from a decision made at character creation.

That classless structure is the part worth taking seriously. It means a player's build is a record of how they spent their time instead of a menu selection, which suits an open world where fighting monsters and other players for territory is the main pressure. Defeated enemies drop items and crypto assets, and anyone who connects a wallet can list those in a game-wide marketplace denominated in the game's token, $LAND.

The economics are where to be careful. $LAND is the in-game currency and the settlement asset for the marketplace, so the value of what you win moves with a traded token rather than with your play. More importantly, earning is gated: the project's own material says play-to-earn rewards require holding tokens on entry to conquests and battles, which makes the token a condition of admission to the earning modes rather than something ordinary play produces. That is a meaningful difference from how most listings describe themselves, and it is the first thing to verify before spending.

It suits players who want a classless open-world MMORPG and are comfortable that the earning layer costs something to enter. Anyone expecting rewards to flow from ordinary play should read the token conditions first — much of the project's public copy is stated as intent rather than as a shipped feature.
