What the staking service does
MARBLEX documentation splits NFT staking into two types. Mining pays out MBX over time while an NFT sits deposited. Seasonal staking pays an allotted amount for staking through a defined season.
Each NFT carries a cap on how much MBX it can mine. Once that cap is hit, nothing more comes out of it.
Depositing and redeeming staked NFTs and MBX carries no fee. Claiming mined tokens costs 2.5%.
Holders can raise APR by staking tokens on top of the NFT. Level-up costs on fully mined NFTs are paid in KAIA, calculated off the MBX/KAIA exchange rate, and the second version of the staking service let users level up as many as 20 NFTs at once.
Season 1 set the template
NFT Adventure runs in seasons, each hosted on its own URL with a different collaborating IP. Users clear missions such as attendance checks, OX quizzes and planet explorations to earn in-game currency, limited costumes and items while enhancing their NFTs. Every story runs through Luminus, the MARBLEX NFT mascot.
Sending an NFT on an exploration temporarily moves it to a separate wallet, where it’s staked. It returns when the exploration finishes. The status bar fills gradually, and at 100% users click it to claim Adventure Rewards.
Level 4 and above NFTs could also claim a special gift, called the Koongya Award in Season 1, which was exchangeable for other NFTs on the MBX NFT platform.
The first season, Koongyaz Universe Odyssey, used the South Korean IP Koongya Restaurantz and was unveiled during Korea Blockchain Week 2024 before launching that October. Its swap pools let users trade Ticket Puzzles for random Alphabet Puzzle NFTs. Pool 1 took nine alphabets spelling “ADVENTURE,” or Jokers as substitutes, in exchange for one MBX Marblership Koongya.
Claim pools that season opened on a staggered schedule at 17:00 UTC+9, each with a capped supply and an MBX cost. Season 2’s pools open three hours earlier in the day.
Background on the 7DS deal
MARBLEX announced the Seven Deadly Sins project on Sept. 23, 2025, describing a licensing arrangement that goes past simple NFT issuance. Thai coverage of the announcement put franchise sales above 55 million copies worldwide.
“We are thrilled to work on a globally recognized IP like The Seven Deadly Sins,” said Jin Pyo Hong, CEO of MARBLEX, adding that the company aims “to introduce groundbreaking blockchain content that will strengthen our competitive edge in the global Web3 market.”
The company teased the collaboration on X later that month, saying 7DS would be featured in NFT Adventures. It listed 7DS NFT Adventure as an IP collaboration in its 2026 strategy update, next to the MBX Store & Pay web store, the evolution collection RPG Pixel Tamers and a buyback and burn program.
Token backdrop
MARBLEX is Netmarble’s blockchain subsidiary. Its token stack splits across chains: MBX is the multi-network public utility token with centralized exchange support on Kaia, MBXL is the bridge token on Kaia and gMBX is the in-game token on Immutable zkEVM, where the marketplace moved after transitioning off Kaia Chain.
Under the buyback program, 20% of net revenue from this year’s games goes toward buying and burning MBX. The Q2 2026 burn covering April 1 through June 30 destroyed 6,368 MBX, trackable on Kaiascan.
MBX set an all-time low of $0.02442 on July 1, roughly 99.97% below its March 2022 peak of $72.17.
