Olderfall (official site), the free-to-play auto-battler from Argentine studio Anubika, has launched Restless Month. The limited event adds two new Fallen types, Zombies and Werewolves, and it runs from October 31 until December 1, 2026. The event is live now at play.olderfall.com.
The studio announced the event on its official X account with a short teaser: “Some Fallens refuse to rest. Others have something to howl about.” The team followed it with: “Time to get grinding.”
How to get the new Fallens
There are three ways to pick up a Zombie or Werewolf gladiator:
- Buy them directly in the Olderfall Shop.
- Find them in the Premium Spin Wheel on weekends.
- Earn them through monthly exclusive quests.
The quest route lets free players get the new gladiators without spending anything.
The two new types join a themed lineup that already includes Elves and Vampires. Each themed Fallen in the shop comes with its own passive bonus. Elves deal 5% more damage during daytime, and Vampires deal 5% more damage at night. The shop pitches those two as rival sides, one rising for dawn and the other hungry for dusk.
Season VII is still running
Restless Month overlaps with Season VII: Moon Courting, which went live on October 1. The season lasts 60 days and wraps up at the end of November, so there’s about a month left to finish it. It has Free and Premium Battle Pass rewards, and its headline item is an exclusive weapon called the Romance Blade.
Moon Courting followed Season 6, “A Matter of Instinct,” which ran from August 1 to September 30. That season’s exclusive weapon was the Blackfang Recurve, with Gems and Void Relics in the Battle Pass.
Ranked Battles, new gear and guild features on the way
Olderfall is preparing Ranked Battles: Season 1, a new competitive season for players who want to test their roster against the best in the arena. No start date has been announced.
Two new pieces of equipment are coming soon: the Deepvein Armor and the Ashel Heavy Hammer. Both give players new options for building out their Fallens before the ranked season starts.
Guilds are getting more depth too. A Guild Bank, Guild Perks and a Guild Shop are in development. They build on the Guild Tournament screen that arrived in August, which shows each guild’s points, the leaderboard and the rewards at stake.
The August update also added a Socketing section in Alchemy, where players can create sockets on weapons and insert gems. The Deathmatch and Flex Tournament screens were reworked to show what each fight costs and what it pays. In September, Olderfall said a new competitive format was entering its final testing phase, with players bringing three Level 20 Fallens into runs of five fights each.
Olderfall quests also remain live on Immutable Play, with extra objectives and rewards tied to in-game activity.
How Olderfall plays
Players take the role of a Gladiator Master who recruits, trains and leads warriors called Fallens in arena battles. Every Fallen is procedurally generated with unique DNA, a mix of stats, affinities and traits that shapes how it fights. Some are brawlers, others play as tacticians. Fights play out automatically, so the result comes down to preparation: team composition, gear quality and loadout choices decide most battles.
New players start with a free Fallen and can manage up to three at once. Signing up takes only a Gmail account, and no crypto wallet is needed to start. The game runs in the browser and is also on Google Play and the App Store.
Progression centers on the Forge, where players merge gear into higher tiers, enhance weapons or melt unused items into resources. PvP covers daily Deathmatches, MMR battles and tournaments, while PvE missions and rotating seasonal events fill out the rest.
Chain, currency and tournaments
Fallens, weapons, armor and cosmetics are NFTs, and the in-game currency is called Vitrium. Shop purchases use USDC on Polygon, and players holding other tokens can swap them into USDC through a built-in bridge. Fallens and gear can be listed and traded with other players on the Olderfall Marketplace.
Weekly tournaments with USDC prize pools run through the N3MUS platform. As of May 2026, they paid 500 USDC to the top 75 finishers from Monday to Friday, plus 250 USDC to the top 20 every Friday.
Olderfall has been on Immutable Play since March 16, 2026, and is part of the Gaming on Polygon hub there. The two teams hosted a Midnight Muster game night with live community rewards earlier this year.
