Cambria’s Dungeons mode crosses $5 million in Keys risked, five times its June total

• Cambria said players have risked more than $5 million in Keys in its Dungeons mode, up from the $1 million the studio reported in a June 30 post.

Cambria has crossed $5 million in Keys risked in Dungeons, the studio said, roughly five times the $1 million figure it posted on June 30.

Alongside the dollar total, Cambria reported 242,132 dungeon runs, 133,500 fishing casts and 87,900 gems appraised. Run count has nearly doubled since the June post, which put the total at 128,571.

Keys are the entry stake and the unit the studio counts. They sell for USDC at 10 Keys per dollar, and players pick how many to risk on each run. More Keys multiply the payout. Die before cashing out and the Keys are gone.

How the run economy works

Dungeons opened invite-gated early access May 15 at 7 a.m. PT on Abstract, which Cambria picked as the exclusive chain for the mode. Players burn Depths Keys to enter, choose melee, ranged or magic and a glass cannon, hybrid or tank loadout, then work through procedurally stocked floors that are currently capped at eight with exponentially rising difficulty.

Each floor forces the same decision: extract, or push deeper. Artifacts collected convert into Dungeon Coins, which auto-redeem against the Dungeon Liquidity Pool for USDC paid weekly, or can be sold over the counter. An 8% payout fee is split between an ecosystem growth fund and the dev team. Unplayed Keys can be refunded at any time.

A player’s Signet Tier at cashout cuts the tax on Dungeon Coins, so higher signets keep more of the take.

Fishing became a Key sink

The fishing casts and gem appraisals are new lines on the board. Dungeon Fishing arrived in early beta as part of patch v0.3.0, which also shipped a Genesis Loot Drop, Quests, new Dungeon Builds and performance work.

It’s an idle mode. Players spend Grub as bait and pull up Sacks of Gems, Charm Cards, NFTs and chests, all of which cash out to Keys, with stronger pulls the longer they fish. The bait itself costs Keys: Mirelle Kain, the NPC at the pond, sells Grub at three Dungeon Keys per 100, and she tracks progress and pays out on catches.

Mirelle’s Favor rises as players buy Grub, which makes the favor requirement a cumulative Grub bill. The first of 10 tiers needs about 1,944 Grub. All 10 run to roughly 194,400.

Cambria announced a promotion on Aug. 2 giving newcomers up to 30,000 free Grub from Mirelle over seven days, putting the close of that window around Aug. 9. Catching an Icefin Carp counts as a quest objective worth 1,000 airdrop points. The Uncut Emerald in Angler Sacks is the prize players chase.

Token launch next

RSGP is due in August with the Genesis mainnet launch and Gold Rush Season 4. Cambria has not confirmed a day, and earlier community sources pointed at a June window, so the date has moved before.

Two reward tracks feed it. Loot Chests score wallets on a Degen Score built from a year of Solana trading, Polymarket positions and perps activity, plus a Chad Score based on token holdings. Chests are claimable through the lobby now, with a 14-day deadline to open them, and eligible allocations also go automatically to linked wallets at the event. The Genesis Airdrop is points-based, drawing on Trinkets and Essence Points earned in past Gold Rush and Duel Arena seasons.

Supply, allocation, vesting, treasury, investor share and liquidity split have not been disclosed.

Cambria’s $1 million RSGP pre-sale hit its hard cap with 959 wallets participating, the largest single allocation at $50,001, priced at a $30 million fully diluted valuation. That sale brought total funding to about $4.5 million, after a $2.5 million seed co-led by BITKRAFT Ventures and 1kx and a $2 million strategic round co-led by BITKRAFT and Sky Mavis that also drew Beast ICO, Apix and Zeneca. A mint of Cambria’s Island NFTs raised $1.3 million.

The studio’s earlier modes built the volume the investors bought into. Duel Arena, its fully onchain PvP mode, recorded $25 million wagered across more than 1 million duels in two months, and BITKRAFT put Cambria’s cumulative onchain volume above $150 million in December 2025. Gold Rush Season 2 drew $1.5 million in sales and more than 4,500 concurrent wallets.
