In Brief:
- Eligible past Cambria (official site) players have until 11 p.m. ET on Sept. 29 to sign the Genesis Event Opt-In Agreement on the game’s lobby site.
- RSGP, the token from the newly formed Cambria Foundation, will anchor Genesis, Cambria’s permanent game world. The foundation still hasn’t set a date for the token generation event.
- Genesis rewards are tied to points players earned inside Cambria, and one community newsletter said players who miss the opt-in are shut out of TGE eligibility.
Cambria players who want a piece of the RSGP distribution have until 11 p.m. Eastern on Sept. 29 to opt in to the Genesis launch event.
Eligible historical users sign up by accepting the Genesis Event Opt-In Agreement on the game’s lobby site. One community newsletter said anyone who doesn’t sign before the deadline is “out of TGE eligibility.” The same writer said the lobby remains invite-gated.

Crypto commentator Yellow Panther (@yellowpantherx) flagged the deadline on X. “This will likely be your $RSGP airdrop that you’ve spent hours gaming and participating in the ecosystem,” Yellow Panther said.
What’s still missing
The Cambria Foundation’s announcement didn’t give RSGP’s supply, distribution, chain or valuation. It didn’t give a TGE date either. The foundation said it will share more about the token before the Genesis event.
The timeline has already slipped twice. Cambria’s presale post estimated the TGE and mainnet launch for June 2026. The team later moved the token launch to August, without an exact date. As of late September, RSGP still hasn’t launched.
Two reward tracks
Cambria is running two separate distributions.
The first is Loot Chests. Cambria’s blog said the chests, which contain RSGP, are going to “all of the degens who have stuck around in the bear market.” Wallets are scored on a Degen Score, which covers Solana trading, Polymarket positions and perps activity over the past year, and a Chad Score, which covers token holdings. Eligible allocations are also sent automatically to linked wallets at TGE.
The second is the Genesis Airdrop, and it’s the one the opt-in covers. It’s based only on points earned through Cambria activities: Dungeons, player referrals, Rare Fishing in the Lobby, Bar Games such as Gizmo’s Folly, Pit Fights, Duel Arena and securing a place in Gold Rush Season 4.
Those points weren’t free. The activities required paying for Risk Keys and Charter costs, so a full allocation meant real spending.
A smaller mainnet
Founder Ben.zzz said Genesis mainnet will open as a deliberately smaller, more restrictive rollout than the seasonal servers that came before it.
The studio plans to admit a supply-capped group of initial “citizens” first, gating access to the game’s core asset loops. The broader player base would follow in later waves.
In a thread posted to X on Sept. 21, Ben.zzz called designing a “permanent onchain game economy” “one of the most challenging things I’ve had to design yet.” Earlier seasons could reset their economies when each one ended. Genesis can’t.
What RSGP does
RSGP stands for “Real Stakes Game Play.” The foundation said the token will “form the core of ecosystem consensus mechanisms” behind the Genesis economy.
It’s meant for treasury governance, rewards and ve-style staking. Locked tokens bring fee reductions, guild advantages, in-game polls and cosmetics. Cambria’s earlier presale post said RSGP won’t be a game currency.
Genesis is set to include persistent assets, guild treasuries, resource competition and what the foundation called “high stakes war games.” Incentives and key economic levers would be directed by the protocol and RSGP holders.
The world ties Cambria’s three modes together. Dungeons are short, real-stakes runs. Islands are player-owned territories that persist. Gold Rush is an extraction MMO where players get out with their loot or lose it, and its planned development centers on group competition, raids and crafting.
Background
Cambria has been developed in public for three years across several experimental seasons. It runs primarily on Ronin, with NFTs also on Ethereum.
In February, Cambria announced a public presale with a $1 million target and a $3 million cap at a $30 million fully diluted valuation, fully unlocked with no vesting. The sale ran March 2-4, 2026, and was closed to buyers in the UK, the U.S., China and OFAC-sanctioned countries.
In the most recent season, players and player-run guilds spent $1.7 million on Charters and Energy Orbs over 10 days. With no reset button on Genesis, Ben.zzz said, comes “a seemingly infinite amount of pitfalls.”
