Fifty-five. That’s how many achievements GTA 6 reportedly has configured, according to a new leak. If the number holds, it’s more than Rockstar Games offered in GTA 5 or Red Dead Redemption 2, especially once you count only the single-player content.
There’s a big caveat. This is leaked information. Rockstar Games hasn't officially confirmed the 55-achievement count, so treat it as unverified until the official trophy and achievement lists arrive.
Where the leak came from
The claim comes from Tex2, a user on a GTA fan forum who also goes by TexFunz2. The post was later picked up by the GTA community on social media.
According to Tex2, 54 of the achievements currently have values ranging from 1 to 54. The remaining one has a value of 1,000.
That odd number is what has fans talking. The speculation is that the 1,000-value entry could be a special reward for clearing the whole list, which would mean a Platinum Trophy on PS5 or a Mythic Achievement on Xbox Series X|S. It could also be nothing. The values may simply be placeholders that Rockstar will change before launch.
How the leaked count compares with GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2
The comparison with Rockstar’s older games is where this gets interesting. GTA 5 has 51 trophies in its base PS5 trophy list, but only 33 of them are tied to offline play. The rest cover GTA Online objectives and the Platinum Trophy.
Red Dead Redemption 2 works the same way. It has 52 PlayStation trophies in total, and 34 of them belong to the single-player experience. Red Dead Online achievements and the Platinum Trophy make up the remainder.

Now run the leaked numbers. If the GTA 6 list is entirely about single-player content (and that’s a big if), 54 regular achievements would put it at nearly twice the single-player trophy count of either game.
That could point to more activities, collectibles, side missions and challenges for you to work through. But an achievement count by itself doesn’t confirm how much content the game will have.
What the leak doesn’t tell you
The leaked information includes no names and no requirements for any of the achievements. You don’t know how hard they’ll be, and you don’t know how long it’ll take to unlock them all.
So completionists are left with a number and a lot of guesswork. It’s also arriving at an odd moment, with GTA 6 now close to its November 19, 2026, release date and the years of “before GTA 6” memes about to retire. Leaks keep surfacing online anyway, and this is one Jason couldn’t fix.
Until Rockstar publishes the real list, what you’ve got is 54 entries valued from 1 to 54, one valued at 1,000, and a forum user’s word that the setup is real.
