The 2026-27 Ligue 1 season is scheduled to begin Aug. 23 and run to May 29, 2027. Early Access drops are timed to land before a league’s Matchday 1.

What Early Access is
Early Access cards reach the market ahead of the regular release schedule. Sorare added a boosted version for the Sorare 27 season alongside Flash Sales, which it described as “a brand-new Instant Buy event with fixed prices.”
Sorare defined the other half as “ultra-limited cards released before Matchday 1, featuring a temporary scoring bonus exclusively for Hot Streaks boards.” Hot Streaks sits inside Pro Mode, so the bonus doesn’t carry across the rest of the game.
Sorare said every league’s card drops are mapped across a published Early Access calendar for the season.
The July template
The first boosted drop gives the shape of it. Sorare ran a three-hour window on Wednesday, July 29, starting at 4 p.m. CET, covering the Scottish, Austrian and Croatian leagues.
Cards pulled in that window carried a Pro Mode scoring bonus for the opening four matchdays: 10% for Reserve, Roster and Key players, and 5% for Star and Icon.
Reward pools around that drop ran to $45,000 in the Rest of the World Arena for Super Rare and Unique cards during the boosted Game Week, up to $3,000 for a complete In-Season Rare lineup across the first four matchdays and up to $2,000 in the Rare In-Season Arena over the first two Game Weeks. Those figures were tied to specific matchdays, not the full season.
Sorare has not published equivalent numbers for the Monaco drop.
Season launch terms
For the Sorare 27 opening, the company applied 2X multipliers to the first Pro Mode steps and 3X to the largest, worth up to $12,000 on the final step. Arena rewards were doubled across all three scarcities for the first two Game Weeks.
Divisions are gone from Arena, replaced by a single leaderboard and one prize pool. Optional goalkeeper and outfield substitutes slot in automatically when a player doesn’t feature.
Sorare said a partnership it had counted on fell through, and that the budget went into deeper Rare Arena rewards and a reward bonus for Classic Rare cards in Pro.
The season launched in July and runs until the European campaign ends in May 2027.
Where the roster stands
Ligue 1 is now complete on the platform with all 18 clubs, including Troyes and Le Mans FC. Liga Portugal arrived through a direct agreement with the league, bringing Porto, Benfica and Sporting. LaLiga EA SPORTS is live, and the J.League’s new season is in.
Cards come in five tiers: Common, unlimited; Limited, one of 1,000; Rare, one of 100; Super Rare, one of 10; and Unique, a single copy. Sorare counts more than 300 licensed clubs and leagues and more than 5 million registered users.
The platform moved much of its infrastructure to Solana in 2025, bridging cards from StarkEx using the compressed NFT standard.
Five seasons in
Monaco and Sorare started in 2021. The first Monaco cards for a new season went live on Friday, Aug. 26, 2022, and the clubs’ agreement now runs through 2027.
UK users face enhanced identity verification and an 18-and-over requirement. A UK Gambling Commission case against Sorare remained open as of March.
Sorare CEO Nicolas Julia said of the extension that Monaco is “an iconic club that shares our vision of innovation and closeness to the fans.”
