In Brief:
- KAP Games integrated its pirate MMORPG Captain & Company with Enjin, letting players mint a soulbound Enjin Pass that tiers up with their in-game activity.
- Enjin infused 100,000 ENJ into a run of Enjin Pirate Blob NFTs, split among 50 winners.
- The integration landed alongside the July 29, 2026 return of C&C Classic, which adds AI crew members and an offline earning system.
Enjin infused 100,000 ENJ into a run of collectible Enjin Pirate Blob NFTs tied to Captain & Company, the KAP Games pirate MMORPG that integrated with the chain in late July.
Fifty players will take a share. Five come from a random draw across all participants, with no purchase required. The other 45 are pulled from the top of the in-game Piracy leaderboard.

What the pass does
Every player can mint an Enjin Pass from their profile page at capnco.gg/profile. It’s a collectible badge with metadata that updates as players mint Enjin mXP, climbing through Bronze, Silver and Gold tiers ranked against every other active player in the game.
The pass is soulbound. It can’t be transferred, sold or faked, and it sits in the player’s wallet rather than on a KAP Games server.
The loop runs through the game’s existing economy. Players hold an in-game Pirate Pass, earn doubloons at sea, then mint mXP back on the profile page. There’s no cap on how often they can mint.
The Pirate Pass itself is a paid item on the Kap.gg platform, sold through the currencies page for $5 worth of nuggies. It lifts the free-to-play earnings cap for 30 days and doesn’t include access to port missions.
Classic mode returns
KAP Games shipped the Enjin rewards next to a rollback of its own game.
“The classic Captain & Company game mode is returning on July 29, 2026, and we’re launching it with additional new Enjin rewards!” the studio said in a blog post.
C&C Classic cuts the game back to ship battles without the systems layered on since. Runes and talents are disabled for now, and the studio said it plans to reintroduce them gradually based on player polls and feedback.
All ships now sail with AI-powered crew members who work stations alongside human players, reacting to the fight and manning guns or the helm. The studio said running a warship was always meant to be a crew effort, and solo captains felt the absence in a less than fun way.
That fix feeds a second one. Players who hold a Pirate Pass and switch on Autopirate in their settings get added to the pool of AI crewmates while they’re logged off, which means they keep earning rewards for crewing battles they aren’t present for.
“Permanently online piracy!” the studio said.
How the game splits its players
Captain & Company divides its player base in two. Captains own ship NFTs and carry the risk every time they sail into combat. Company players bring no ships and instead take a cut of the booty when the battles they crew are won, filling roles like gunner, boatswain and carpenter.
Fights run in real time and hold up to 128 players. The game is free to play and runs on any device through capnco.gg.
The integration also gives Enjin a naval combat title at the top of a busy stretch for the chain. Wind Season, the third chapter of Enjin’s year-long Essence of the Elements Multiverse Quest, opened July 28 at 15:00 UTC and runs to a rewards draw on Oct. 2. That campaign draws on a separate 50,000 ENJ allocation per season, part of 200,000 ENJ earmarked across 2026’s four seasons.
The studio aimed its pitch at players who were already there. “If you’re an OG Captain & Company pirate, this is the game mode you’ve been asking for,” it said.
